    Addison Moore has been one of my favorite authors for years. This book is a great example of why she is a favorite. Great characters with depth and real feelings and real problems. Lane and Violet are incredible. While they both have their issues, Vi moreso than Lane, they also really want to be together. I love this. Ok and can’t wait for the next in this series. This is a must read author!!

    Funny and cute second chance about a young college couple in a very interesting setting.

    Spoilers -

    A year ago: the two have known each other since they were kids. They have been dating for about a year and a half until the h finds the H kissing OW at a party. They break up and avoid each other on campus.

    Present: the two are about 19 years old and have signed up for a college reality show with the theme of reuniting exes within a six week period.
    The two really never fell out of love with each other falls for each other again.

    Secrets come out. It appears that the h set up the H to cheat on her because of her insecurities and her parents’ breakup.She paid the OW to kiss the H. This was after the h loaded the H with alcohol. He did pull away from the kiss, but it was too late.

    The two reunite during the show. I liked the H even though he slept with three women during their time apart and it was under the guise to forget about the h. The h, of course, didn’t sleep with anyone. I could forgive the H since he was so into the h.

    A recommend. Dual povs and a hilarious supporting cast. The story could have been longer.

    I was given an ARC an exchange for an honest review.

    This is the 2nd book in The Social Experiment Trilogy. If I were you I would read the 1st book before this one, even though they are about different couples. I was really looking forward to this book. Loved the idea of putting these 2 exes together for 6 weeks. However, I felt that the book in parts became super repetitive and sometimes borderline boring. I felt that the author did a good job of bringing readers up to date if you didn't read the first book. But then she would repeat the same things, almost word for word over again, on multiple occasions. Like she expected that you just picked up the book and started reading in the middle. Some of the timeline was off and the plot was mundane. There were some grammatical errors but those might be fixed later in the published edition.

    I loved Lane, the main male character. However, I kind of hated Violet. She was super wishy-washy, immature and pretty annoying. I didn't even really enjoy supporting characters in this book. And when they appeared and had 20 minute long conversations, I wanted to start skipping through until I got to the main couple again. Even though I wasn't really thrilled with their dialogue either. This is where some of the timeline was off. The author's way of writing dialogue sometimes makes it hard to follow and understand. And they would jump around in their speech.

    Overall, this book still had some engaging parts, was mildly entertaining and wasn't a horrible read, it just wasn't my favorite read by this author. I would recommend it to readers who are fans of this author or who have read the previous book.

    After reading all about Sophie’s story and being introduced to her friends I was wondering if we would get a follow-on book about Sophie’s friends because I thought they were all interesting characters. I was pleased when I picked up this Bitter Exes as I was sure that Violet’s story would be pretty kick-ass and at first, I thought that it was pretty awesome, but then as I went along I couldn’t help but take Lane’s side as honestly, he was pretty innocent in all of this. In the beginning, I was completely on Violet’s side and could understand why she had such a broken heart a year on from the break up, yet as I got further into the book and got the picture of both sides I found myself thinking that she needed to grow up a lot. If she really didn’t give a damn about him then she would have just put her feelings to the side and just got on with the experiment instead of wearing her heart on her sleeve. I thought the who idea of this story had such great potential and I did enjoy it but I just couldn’t get into this one as much as I thought I would. It doesn’t mean to say that this was badly written because trust me it wasn’t. Addison’s writing is incredible, I just don’t think that this book lived up to the expectations that I had in mind. But seriously though, you should give it a try and see what you think.

    Addison Moore did a great job on this story. Bitter Exes was a great story. The book was well written and had a great plot.. Lane and Violet were strong characters. I enjoyed their journey. Lane and Violet had great chemistry. It was a great story. I enjoyed it. Thank you, Addison Moore. Great work :)

    When you get affected with someone else's breakup that you think your relationship cannot survive whatsoever, you do crazy things just to prove a point.

    Lane and Vi were close to perfect, until Vi's live went into a tailspin. Now they're both single and end up paired to be on a campus reality show because of her love for scarves. Ha!

    Six weeks. They have to work out what happened to them within that time. Do they have to end up together? Not necessarily, but let's cross our fingers! Being bitter does have it's consequences – you're bitter because you are still harboring feelings for each other.

    Destiny always has a way of working itself out.

    Enjoyed every single minute of this one! Both MCs have a depth to them that you just want their story to continue a bit more! You'd be flipping the pages until you realize that, boom, you're done with the book! Then you get bummed. Haha!

    This might be the second book to the series but can be read as a stand alone.
