- Reviewed in the United States on July 4, 2023This collection of stories was wonderful! All of the stories were entertaining and I could put the book down until I finished. Amazing!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 5, 2022The stories were rather simple.
Two of the stories I read had a bit of a twist. Another reminded me of the twilight zone episode where a passenger on a plane sees a phantom out on the wing. From there the course of action was different then the twilight zone story.
It was a fast read and I enjoyed reading this book.
Thank you for the ARC and opportunity to review this book.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 31, 2021Each story was better than the previous one. Rarely do I find an anthology where all the stories are good. This is one of them.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 27, 2021I believe that a title should be accurate so that after reading I can say wow I get why it was called ___. This I would call "7 Kinda Off Days: A Collection Of Meh". As you can tell this collection was not far me at all. I didn't find any story that was good please don't get me wrong, they are well written, good grammar, spelling, syntax usage the content was lacking and predictable. Most titled stories told everything in its title you'll see. I checked the reviews, thought ok finally a good collection as I have been reading stories that were terrible, so bad I couldn't leave a review (if I can't say anything nice I can't leave a review, is one of my rules, I'm sorry I got off topic) . I gave it three stars bc someone who isn't into horror, things that are scary or imaginative well this book is perfect for them. It's even right for the teenager (maybe), I wouldn't recommend for, someone looking for scary, creepy stories. Please remember this is my opinion of this book, thank you.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2020Loved the short stories, lots of unusual twists and turns.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 10, 20197 Days in Hell is exactly what it says on the box: stories ofnormal, innocent people who have horrible, horrible days. Their days go bad in churches, airplanes, hiking trails, and Uber cars. Some of the things that happen are fantastic, others horrifyingly real (one in particular reminded me of a terrible local news story). All are seriously gruesome, so if splatterpunk isn't your thing you might want to steer clear! If you like violence then this collection is up your alley.
I wish I knew a bit more about the characters and there were some loose ends I would have liked tied up (I like to know WHY the evil ghosts are hanging around) but that's a personal preference.
If you have an hour to kill and want a peek into hell, you won't go wrong with this collection!
