Anna has been divorced for three years and is perfectly happy with her life. She has grown-up children, a nice house and a successful career as a romantic novelist. As far as she is concerned, romance belongs on the pages of her books and has no place in her real life now that she is enjoying her hard-won freedom from an unhappy marriage.
Graham is a bookshop owner, a blogger, an experienced Dom and an avid reader of Anna’s books. When Anna decides she wants her next book to be a little less Barbara Cartland and a little more ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’, Graham is the ideal person to assist her in her research.
Even when that research takes a more practical turn and Anna finds herself enjoyably upended over Graham’s lap, she is still adamant that she isn’t looking for a relationship. They are just two friends exploring an alternative lifestyle together. There’s no reason for romantic feelings to become involved.
At least that’s what she tells herself. Fate, it seems, has other ideas.
This is a light-hearted romantic comedy with a safe, sane and consensual twist.

    When a bookstore owner presents a challenge for a romance author, she discovers him to be not only a research source as a Dom but unlocks her inner submissive. Can the difference in their ages present a problem? Though he seems to be enjoying their meetings, his shyness seems contrary to him being a Dom. Charming story.

    The book is a good enjoyable steamy with light heart romantic comedy read. The story has a good story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry.
