- Reviewed in the United States on August 28, 2022A bit chaotic at times but an excellent read overall. There were some loose ends but I guess there always are in real life. I don’t want to give anything away but the parallel with King and her mother’s dog really pulled at my heartstrings. I felt the ending was somewhat abrupt and I would have loved a little more back story on Brian. The story itself as a whole was raw, sometimes ugly, but mostly beautiful and I appreciate the author for sharing this glimpse into her life. It was very easy to give this 5 stars I finished it in one night, could not put it down.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2023This is not a criticism, just an observation. Many misspelled words throughout. Did not take away from the story line, but sometimes distracted. Well done Kate.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 30, 2023Nothing about this book was interesting. It was a stream of consciousness that left me confused. The author didn't delve into anything. Just stated something and moved on to the next confusing topic. She is very negative about other people and just not a pleasant person at all.
