A bit chaotic at times but an excellent read overall. There were some loose ends but I guess there always are in real life. I don’t want to give anything away but the parallel with King and her mother’s dog really pulled at my heartstrings. I felt the ending was somewhat abrupt and I would have loved a little more back story on Brian. The story itself as a whole was raw, sometimes ugly, but mostly beautiful and I appreciate the author for sharing this glimpse into her life. It was very easy to give this 5 stars I finished it in one night, could not put it down.
