About the author

Hello!
I love to write and I love to connect with my readers. I hope that you will dive into the pages of one of my novels. Try my first multiple award-winning novel, A Rose For Jonathan. Don't let the name fool you! The meaning behind the title will not be what you think! There are angels and demons and so much more between the pages. If you are like most readers, Mr. Roberts will become a favorite character for you. Learn about the importance of organ donation while you also find how powerful prayer and scripture are in the spiritual world around us. After you finish this novel, check out the multiple award-winning sequel, Quiver. This time the action is non-stop and will keep you tumbling through the pages until the end. There are some of the same characters but a host of new ones. So far, one, in particular, has been the favorite. Let me know which one you think it is!
If you are more inclined to read crime thrillers, come to The Club and find out why the members are "dying to join". Follow the characters on a mind-twisting run through the pages as you try to figure out where it will end.
If true stories are your thing, then give Perfect: The Building of a Championship Culture. The journey of a football team working against all odds is depicted in this book. As they face one Goliath after another, their Cinderella-like rise to greatness becomes one of the biggest surprises in Georgia football history.
I look forward to hearing from you and hope that you like a little peek into what is in my mind. So many more stories are waiting to be released!

Beth Green's A Rose for Jonathan is an enlightening story revealing the power of prayer and scriptural declaration. Standing guard on a hill above the city are three angels ... a sword pierces the ground, the earth shakes, yet no one notices except for one small two-year-old child. Suddenly, a car crash occurs, traumatically impacting the lives of all those involved. The watching angels flee to their charges. As a result of this accident, a ripple effect unseen by human eyes begins in the atmosphere. A divine plan begins to unfold. The gift within little Rose Louise traverses time and transforms lives. Her donation of life gifts the lives of three others and releases a light, a shimmering glow, into a darkened community. Thirty-five years later, one man's eyes are opened to the truth. Tension has been building; the spiritual battle has been raging. Standing in front of his congregation, Pastor John Miles prepares to share the incredible story of Rose Louise. Is it a story of mere irony, or is it divine destiny? Will his congregation embrace and believe, or will they shun him, considering him a fool? Looking at his audience, he begins to share the events that transpired to bring him to this moment of time. "I stand before you because of a gift..."
The quote by Alexander Pope, "Fools rush in where angels fear to tread," whispered in my head as I read A Rose for Jonathan. Contrarily, Beth Green depicts the angelic realm with boundless and fervent bravery, ever watching over their assigned humans, and graciously heeding the voice of the Father. In this compassionate story, the angels fear nothing; instead, they dare the angels of darkness to tread lightly. Beth Green does a wonderful job of portraying the despair and heartache of losing a child. She reveals the truth that everyone grieves differently; pain is very real and individualized. Moreover, Green uses her experience as a pediatric physical therapist to give insight into the organ donation process. Too often, we forget that someone has to die in order for someone else to live through an organ transplant. This story delicately yet decisively weaves together the concept that there is a constant battle for the souls of humankind. Jesus Christ paid the ultimate sacrifice; He died that we might live. A Rose for Jonathan's resounding message is that we as believers are overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 3, 2018Wow! Double wow! From the first sentence to the last word "A Rose for Jonathan" grabbed me by the heart and lead me through an amazing journey that stirred up evert type of emotion I have including some good chuckles in cleverly awkward situations and funny one liners. Throughout the twists and turns God's love always prevailed but just barely in some cases as the author expertly describes seething, hateful demons just waiting to get their negative filthy claws into us. The amazing power of prayer that strengthening humans and angels has always resonated with me. Getting this type of book out to the masses is truly a gift to the world. Now others can experience the author's vision and form their own beliefs, realities and legacies. Some people have a natural gift of seeing angels and connecting with them. Each and every one of us has God's pure unconditional love; everyone of us is worthy and loved more than we will ever know. Amen! God Bless You and "Angels on Your Pillow"

- Reviewed in the United States on July 18, 2015I was asked to write a review of the book "A Rose for Jonathan" by Beth Strange Green. If you are a Christian and like to read AT ALL, you will enjoy this book. It reminded me of the first book I read about spiritual warfare (Frank Peretti's "This Present Darkness"). The infinite power of prayer was presented so well and inspired me to get even more serious about prayer in my life.
The book deals with a young family who face various life-changing difficulties. There is a strong thread of faith throughout that sustains them in their grief and in joy as well. The characters are people you might know, they are so well developed. The story is told with a range of humor, suspense, drama, and faith all rolled in together.
The author, Beth Green "The Green Author", is a pediatric physical therapist and brings her special affinity for children to the forefront as she discusses the subject of organ donation and transplantation. The story is woven in a masterful way and I highly recommend it for your next read.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2016A Rose for Jonathan is a book that will inspire readers to search their hearts and minds to see what kind of spiritual warfare they are going through. The author takes two difficult topics (spiritual warfare and organ donation) and blends them together with a great story to capture the readers attention. I felt at times that the story was too wordy but then realized that it needed to be that way so the reader would understand all that was going through the different characters mind. This is a book that I will not forget. I will forever take a look around and wonder what type of spiritual being is surrounding me. I encourage you to read this book, enjoy the story and remember " that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)"
- Reviewed in the United States on July 9, 2015Other than the Bible, I have read few books that have impacted my life as poignantly as A Rose For Jonathan! That says a lot seeing that this is a novel and not a Christian studies book. Beth Green masterfully weaves a plausible picture of the battle in the heavenliness; so much so that now when I pray I can actually visualize the war of good and evil that is taking place. I found that the character development brought me into the lives of each individual and rejoiced as they were all brought closer to God. The emphasis on organ donation even opened up conversations for me with my children. I believe that A Rose For Jonathan will impact every reader through causing introspective evaluation into ones own beliefs about God, prayer, angels and demons, and the impact of organ donation. It is my sincerest hope that this book changes peoples lives like it has positively impacted mine!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 13, 2015When I first started reading this book, my thoughts immediately jumped to Frank Peretti. I love his books and the way Beth Green introduces angels in her novel is very similar to what I expect to see from the master-of-spiritual-warfare-christian-fiction Frankie P.
As I progressed in the novel, Green maintained some Peretti flair, but, at the same time, she flowed into her own domain. This book is not only another fiction novel to add to your shelves. This book is a testimony that God is good. That God takes bad situations and uses them to reveal his gracious love.
I believe this story could be a salve for the soul to those who have lost someone dear to them. It communicates grief, regret, anger at God, and the good that can come out of choosing to donate your loved ones organs. It shows that everyone is different and it takes time to heal from those wounds. Green uses the perspective of angels to show that God is here for the grieving, something I believe those in pain need to hold on to.
A quick side note, I couldn't help but pick up on an overwhelming amount of imagery. For the purpose of avoiding spoilers in this review, I will not disclose details here. If you want to know my thoughts or have a book chat, feel free to contact me! I will say, however, that this realization pushed me from wavering between three and four stars to a strong four.
Why the wavering you ask? Ah, time for the constructive critiquing part of this review. Although this is a very well put together story, I got my hopes up when I made the connection to Frank Peretti. I expected more action than I received. I also think more could have been done with the demon named Bune. I felt like he kind of left me hanging.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 23, 2019I loved this story of how God works all things together for good and that we should praise Him in all circumstances. It is so important to understand the spiritual battle that constantly surrounds us and the power we have available to us through prayer and scripture. I can’t wait to read the sequel!
