    This pretty little mermaid wants revenge and she will do anything to achieve that. If you are of a nervous disposition then you need to choose something else to read.

    Aren the mermaid princess is a savage killer. Snatching human and sea creatures alike slaughtering them for her own pleasure, often making trophies out of them.

    The Mer King has guards protecting their world from the humans. Aren is forbidden to cross the line as are all the merfolk but the guards are more scared of her than her father. They turn a blind eye to her comings and goings.

    The storyline does follow that of 'The Little Mermaid' but is just so much darker and sinister. Worth checking out but like I said not for the faint hearted.
