All Men's Space - In Space!: Bufik Lanet's Tale (Tales of Gentalia Book 7) [Print Replica] Kindle Edition

3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 7 ratings

A mysterious planet unexplored.
A hyped game modded.
A helpful space elf solo.

Industry Giant Tornado Tech has —amazingly— done nothing wrong this time, but Goodbye Games’ latest game was all hype and no substance. There is one saving grace for the flop of the decade: the modding community. Space Science Officer Bufik Lanet is on a dangerous mission through modded territory to save his crew-mates and he doesn't have any tricks up his sleeve!

But not all mods are coded equal, and soon the expedition is compromised with titillating situations more reserved for other games parodied in the Tales of Gentalia Series (which Tornado Tech do have their hands firmly grasped around). Bufik space explores as fast as he can to protect his friends from mysterious science fiction technobabble that wants to use them for experiments of its own.

As ‘The Device’ siphons energy from a curious source, an important question remains unanswered: What kind of insane modder would add sexual situations to a video game? More important to Bufik Lanet is his own personal question, “I wonder if that sexy Commander Herder is single?”

Warning: Contains m/m situations and modded monster banging.
While part of a series, this novelette can be read as a stand alone story!

CB Archer is a novelist who lives happily in the sunny Okanagan Valley, nestled in Canada (America’s Hat).

CB Archer is responsible for the Annals of Gentalia brand, and the C.ollege of U.nited M.onsters brand, and would like to apologize for nothing!

Good Lord! Just when I think this series can't get any goofier, it raises (or lowers) its game! This latest installment features a game full of Star Trek/Star Wars/Doctor Who/Sherlock (and was there also a passing reference to Red Dwarf?) allusions, sure to delight fans of any of those franchises. Providing you don't mind a little anatomically impossible sex, of course. I don't recommend reading this in public, in case 1) someone looks over your shoulder, or 2) you embarrass yourself by chortling uncontrollably. I also recommend reading some of the earlier novelettes first, since this one builds on the overarching plot that has been slowly developing from story to story. However, if you've been following the series from the beginning, you're sure to enjoy this chapter in it.

To start off, I'd like to clarify, in case anyone was wondering: this book takes place in space. I know, the title is a little vague.

So, here we have a story inspired by a game fiasco that I managed to miss in my codgerdom of not knowing a whole lot about new games. But that's okay. I didn't have to know anything about this game to enjoy Bufik's story (and name: Bufik! Bufik! Bufik! Oh my stars, is that fun to say!)

In fact, there were many other elements to the story (aka: several tongue in cheek nods to many sci-fi fandoms) that I did recognize and got a few cheap giggles out of. Overall, a fun romp. Loved it.

Yet another great genre send up, all dressed up in sexy underwear. All Men's Space - In Space! (if it wasn't clear) parodies your favorite SciFi media and games, then takes their clothes off and has its way with them. I love the incompetent space officers, as well as what happens to them!

This is my new favourite of this series. 8,856% more love for this one! The overriding theme is, of course, Star Trek, but there's sci-fi references galore and it takes a shot at slash in a big way.
