Ann Simas lives in Oregon, but she is a Colorado girl at heart, having grown up in the Rocky Mountains. She has been an avid reader since childhood and penned her first fiction "book" in high school. She particularly likes to write mystery/suspense/thriller with a love story and paranormal or supernatural elements. She is a three-time RWA Golden Heart Finalist. An award-winning watercolorist and a budding photographer, Ann also enjoys needlework and gardening in her spare time. She is her family's "genealogist" and has been blessed with the opportunity to conduct first-hand research in Italy for both her writing and her family tree.     Ann has a real talent writing short stories. She seems to have her finger on the pulse of every average woman. I particularly liked the RB's. We have all dealt with women like these. They never seem to progress past Jr. High. And K-I-S-S-I-N-G meant something personal to me, so I'm sure it will do the same for others. Thank you, Ann for writing your wonderful stories.

    Eclectic Collection is right! There is everything from family drama to the para-normal to suspense to romance to aliens (from outer space) in these short stories by Ann Simas. I especially enjoyed Who's There, a suspenseful tale of a woman obsessed with being prepared for any event and having it pay off big-time. Give this book a chance and I think you will thoroughly enjoy it! I look forward to more of Ann's creations in the future!
