Suddenly, everything changes after Lexi meets Prince Raven Langston. They share a connection so powerful, her grandmother has no choice but to reveal an entire millennia worth of secrets.
What Lexi learns about herself and her past can either make her the most powerful women in the world, or if those secrets fall in the hands of the wrong group, then she would become the world’s most valuable target.

About the author

Hello,
My name is Krystal and I'm addicted to books! The magically wild world of books is what keeps me somewhat sane. As my hubby points out almost daily, if it weren't for my love for our kids (as I write this they are 7 and 4 years old) I would gladly live in my mind. I take that as a compliment as that means the plots running amok in my mind are so awesome I'd love to live in any of them!
One thing you need to know about my writing: I describe my books as you being on a rollercoaster ride. At times, you will want to laugh, cry, curse (at a character or me) or celebrate. Also, if the book is part of a series, there will always be questions left unanswered, which I will address later on in following books. And if it is part of a series then it will end in a cliffhanger.
If you don't know where to start I'd suggest you pick up Unforeseen, Fortuitous and Alpha Queen, which are all free!
p.s if you enjoy my stories and want to learn more about me and my upcoming books, then join my reader group on Facebook! https://www.facebook.com/groups/846685218754432/
Don't forget to write a review of the books you read and tell others about the ones you love!
Happy reading,
Krystal

- Reviewed in the United States on December 30, 2015Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis is the first book in the King of Alphas series and I am already loving this series! Lexi's entire world is turned upside down and she learns the truth about why she's always felt like an outsider amongst her people once she meets Prince Raven. I loved the chemistry between Raven and Lexi and this is a beautiful and well written story. I look forward to reading more of this series in the future and I can't wait to see what happens next. I loved reading this and highly recommend this book to anyone to read!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2016Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThe protagonist is definitely a character that u can relate to. She's young and humble. She is told what her destiny is and takes it in stride. While this book is just a start of a good story, you can feel that it is worth reading the next in the series. Only drawback is the childlike tone in the writing.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 22, 2019Format: KindleVerified PurchaseFor all u new shifter reader's this is a nice send off, with a bit of Romance and intrigue as well a mystery, it has good starting lines and friendship.
It pulls you into the story with ease that you won't want to put it down.
Well that is all I'm off to find book two, chow, And happy Reading.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 18, 2016Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI loved the start of this book! The story is flowing fabulously and then *poof* the story is over. I know it is a novella, but it feels as though the story line is just dropped. I am hoping the second book picks back up the action and adventure that the first one starts with.
I love that the story revolves around many kinds of shifter families. I also enjoyed how the Princess has a secret that seemingly no one knows but her grandmother.
Off to read the next in the series as my curiosity has been peaked.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 25, 2015Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI really liked this! I was warned that it was a cliffhanger and I hate those. But it ended on a good note and was not a giant cliffhanger. Valentina and Raven are great characters and the author gets right to the point. There is no long drawn out story about how they met and it was a quick and easy read. If you are looking for something short and entertaining this is a good choice!
- Reviewed in the United States on July 18, 2015Format: KindleVerified PurchaseIf you're looking for adventure and romance then you came to the right book. And in the beginning there such an innocent in the main character. I'm never sure how to write these I don't want to give too much away but I think you guys will definitely enjoy it. All I can tell you it's a page turner and I can't wait to get to book 2 !!!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2020Format: KindleVerified PurchaseOk, so this is a novella introducing the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Little Alpha Queen
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThe Alpha Queen was the first book that I read of Krystal White. And I Happy did this story is novella which it introduced and is also the grounds for others to come. The alpha Queen is about a young girl named Lexi is a beautiful blond shifter, who always felt different like an outcast. And who has a sister name Vanessa who was mean to Lexi. Lexi had to best friends named Aliana and Michael. But when Lexi meets Raven everything changes, for everyone's world is when turned upside down. Secrets are revealed. I hope more instalments of this story will come out for us to see if Lexi and Raven will be soul mates. And to see what happens to Vanessa because something is off with her. I would totally recommend is book to others for a quick weekend read and enjoyable .Congratulations Krystal White on an great book

1.0 out of 5 stars Wouldn't even call it a short story
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseIncredibly short, didn't even take half an hour. Filled with fluff filler (unimportant details) no real details until the end and even then it made little sense with so many questions left unanswered. It was boring, essentially nothing happens, no action, no drama, no sass or attitude at all and only a tiny little hint of romance. There was nothing to make me want to get the 2nd story.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic shifter romance
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseReviewed for SJ BOOK BLOG
Genre: paranormal romance (shifters)
What's it about: the story follows Lexi, a princess on the Lyon Island who's older sister Vanessa is about to participate in the coming of age celebration, the whole community is excited about the arrival of the swoon worthy Prince Raven, but when an unexpected chance encounter happens between Lexi and Raven it starts a chain of events that neither saw coming,
You will love this story if: you like paranormal shifter romances
The writing style of this author really draws you into the story, the story itself is original and a fantastic basis / foundation to a great story. This book is the first in a series and clearly sets up the characters and mythology.
The book however lacked details and was very short. It took me a few chapters to even realise Lexi was a princess living in a castle which drastically changes the images is built up in my head about how her home looked.
There is a lack of description of the settings and this is left mostly to the readers imagination. This can be seen as both a good thing and a bad thing.
The book seems to be more a novella but sets a great premise for the rest of the story. A fantastic interesting read I would highly recommend.
