    Addictive is what all these stories are. So much pain in this collection. First reading with the perspective of Alan. Then book 2 getting the version of Kaley and Bobbie. What Krystal and Jacob go through is intense.
    Obsession is the word I will use with these books. I feel I know all of them. In the background are the people I've fallen in love with over this ride. 5 stars for this part is because Alan and Christie are still together and Alan is the heart throb I knew deep down him to be.
    Jackson is still with us and helping guide this family the best he can, my love for him is still so strong. But by god, we created Jacob. Oh my there's a deep emotional connection here. So much happens in this story and not all good. Scary and dark and cruel. The tears that roll from my eyes, uncontrollably at times. Such heartaches, pain.
    The love and strength both Krystal and Jacob and the family have to find to come out the other end of this.
    Looking forward to more. These HEA aren't run of the mill and at times feel as if they're never going to happen.

    I can’t believe I didn’t rate this book when I read it. Probably because I was new to Amazon Kindle and Goodreads wasn’t a thing.
    This book led me on the journey to Sand And Fog and Forever Series. I can’t recommend this authors writing properly. But I do highly recommend this author.

    I really wanted to give this 5 stars because I loved the stories so much, but there are just so many plot lines that are unnecessary and detracting. For instance, Kaley's dream chapter and Krystal's pretend boyfriend to name just two. The Jesse Harris story line begged to be fleshed out because he was such an interesting character, but it was nothing more than a tease which made no sense in the end.

    I could never get a clear picture in my head of Jackson Parker. He was given almost saintly qualities and was beloved by everyone who knew him, yet Chrissie seemed to hate him one minute and love him the next. The whole storyline of Neil just happening to be a janitor at Berkeley when he was from Santa Barbara and lived in Seattle. Plus the jail sentence made absolutely no sense nor did the whole kinky sex detour for a daughter who was least likely to engage in that.

    The whole thing with Chrissie's children stretched the imagination so far as to be almost preposterous. Great stories, but really... It was if Ms Ward was trying too hard to build transition through nonsense. I found myself often shaking my head over these storyline.

    That being said, I think she tells very engaging stories and draws likeable and engaging characters. I will continue to read her books.

    All of the books, and they still keep me intrigued. I love Jack, and Chrissie. And The hot rocker well....but yes I wanted to slap both of them silly, so many times, but it had to happen just the way it did. It was funny reading this new book form, because I had read the original way back but still knew how things were going to end. The very newest was the last story, and even though it ends with love ❤️ it breaks your heart getting there. I am waiting for the boys stories now, to see how they have evolved.👏🏻👍🏻😘

    This series is well written and rather addictive, but I found myself really not liking Chrissie Parker. Starting with the first series (written from Chrissie’s

    perspective), I found her character to be clueless, spoiled, selfish, and unbearably

    childish. I understand that she had tragedies in her life, but even before this second

    series (written from Alan’s perspective) and all the secrets that are revealed, I truly did not
    like Chrissie. And the other (picky, I know) annoyance was the over use of the word ‘flesh’ when an occasional use of skin, body, or actual names of body parts would have been better. I assume we are all adults reading these books. We can handle the anatomically correct terms. Still… these are great stories.
