New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, Linda S. Prather, was born in Kentucky in 1955. She currently live in Lexington, Kentucky with my fiancé, Coby W. Fuson. She has two wonderful sons, Charles and Steven.

I have always loved reading and writing. And although perhaps not a great literary work, I loved and was inspired by Old Yeller. The characters in that book were real to me. When I started writing, it was my greatest desire to write characters that readers could love and hate, laugh and cry with.

Knowledge was another love. I wanted to learn about everything. I studied metaphysics; delving into touch healing, dream analysis, meditation, and hypnosis. I received my associate's degree in metaphysics in 1992 and continued from there to become a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. I spent several years studying the effects of hypnosis on cancer and pain. I taught meditation, dream analysis and self-hypnosis through Eastern Kentucky University's Special Programs for four years. The power of the mind has always fascinated me. I've recently become a paranormal investigator, and love old houses that go bump in the night.

The Gifts and coming soon Sacred Secrets are a combination of my love of mystery, metaphysics and the paranormal.

External Beauty the second book in the Catherine Mans Psychic Suspense series was captivating. A real page turner that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Linda Prather writes to visualize. I like a book I can actually visualize the scenes, the images and what is happening to the character. I was right there with Catherine and Rosetta the entire time.Catherine who is a real beauty and psychic, Rosetta a very strong character who holds her on and more. All of the characters in this book are wonderful! Love Catherine and her team! A great book that I would recommend to everyone who loves suspense, adventure and mystery. I give External Beauty a 5 star rating! Great job Linda Prather!!! I can not wait until Catherine Mans and her team enter my visions again!!!

I love Catherine Mans when her psychic abilities are up and running (Bet You Can't Find Me), so I was disappointed that they were out of commission for this book. Still, in Linda Prather fashion, it was well-written, engaging, and kept me interested to the end. Now I hope Catherine recovers and puts her special abilities back to work!

I've been waiting months for this second book in the Catherine Mans series...but it was well worth the wait. I read Bet You Can't Find Me (Book 1) and really enjoyed it. However, I think I liked Eternal Beauty even more.

I loved the references to Dante Alighieri, and the "bad guy" was so creepy he gave me nightmares. Seriously.

I loved the team work of the special investigators and how each character was fleshed out with his/her own baggage and flaws and talents. (Interesting characters are what make or break a book for me.) I especially loved how the women of the team, Catherine and Rosetta, worked together like a well-oiled machine.

Nothing in this book - the plot, the characters, the motivations - was predictable. If you enjoy mystery-thrillers, you will love Eternal Beauty. Recommended read!

I liked this book better than the first one. Catherine and the team have another killer to find and her powers aren't working this time. As the team is split up investigating in different cities they find they work better together. Catherine has big news for Cody but can't seem to find the right time to talk to him about it. Great series well worth reasing.

I read the first novel in the series of these characters Bet you can't... FIND ME (Catherine Mans' Suspense) and loved it; so when to my great joy, the second was immediately available I had to read it.

It has not disappointed me. You are drawn in by the storyline but also by your relationship of the characters. I can see this becoming a Tv series easily.
The Special FBI team is unique due to it being of psychics and intuitive people. Can they save the blond/blue eyed women that this brilliantly psychotic killer is after? Can they help a sweet innocent like woman from his plans for her. Will they escape this madman when he sets his sites on them?

Plot twists and didn't see that one coming is what will keep you glued from page one through the shocking reveals and leaves you wanting more books from this author and the main character 'Catherine Mans'.

    I highly recommend this series.

This is book two, of the Catherine Mans’ season. I hadn’t read the first, but it didn’t matter at all.

We follow the Elite Section of the FBI, who are trying to capture a killer. He’s partial to blonde women, with blue eyes.
He’s obviously not right in the head, and as the story goes along, you start to hear more about this man’s past, and present.

Loved how the FBI worked well as a team of colleagues, as well as being good friends too. There were murders, a chase, helicopter and of course, guns. Fantastic ending too.

I’ll definitely be following this series by Linda Prather. I’ve read a few of her other books and loved too!

    Unputdownable!

    5.0 out of 5 stars It's here!

It's here the next installment in the Catherine Mans series by one of my favourite authors.

If you love the TV series Criminal Minds you'll absolutely love this.

Catherine Mans and her special FBI unit are called to investigate a serial killer case after eight sets of eyes are discovered in a lake. The investigation has many twists and turns as the team tries to track down this psychotic killer fixated on his girlfriend's beauty.

Usually reliant on her psychic abilities Catherine is frustrated that her powers have chosen to desert her for this case, Rosetta, her partner steps up to the plate and is a key player in solving the case. A great supporting cast makes this a must read.

I'm delighted to see this book finally hit the virtual shelves as Bet you can't... FIND ME was my pick for the best read of 2012.

Still love this series and can't wait for the third instalment. The only thing that let the book down was the lack of psychic ability, keep up the good work Linda.
