    Ambrose gives me life. When he explains what happened to him, it all makes since. He is very different from the rest of his family. Together they're a great couple.

    So on one hand you have Ambrose a straight ex army member of the Theriot mafia family and on the other hand you have Eric a gay sheriff. Sounds like a plan for disaster especially as Ambrose has a tendency to go off and hide in the bayou. Silvia Violet is good at writing books like this though and for making them feel believable, although maybe it’s something in the water that keeps turning all the men gay. Grin! (I think I would like a book for Eric’s sister where she meets her man because let’s face it not all of the Theriot men can only like guys.) This book is a fun read with high heat, some fun kink and medium angst. It also has some scenes with characters from past books which I always like and to me makes the books seem more realistic than when a series is about a family but each book only has one couple in it with no interaction between the rest of the family. If you like mm mafia books then I recommend this series to you. You don’t have to have read the other books to understand this one but I do recommend it. Enjoy!

    This book and story is definitely my favorite in the series! Two hot alpha men who can give and receive ;) We learn more about Ambrose and his past. If you read the other books and liked them, you won't be disappointed. I loved the action, the feelings, the lovemaking, and the story. Ambrose and Eric are eye to eye. Love it!  Ambrose has a fantastic character development. Eric has to make some decisions if he's gonna stay as Sheriff or if he's gonna follow his heart. It's so good! There is a HEA.
