From the Author
I was reading one of my favorite Sci-fi romances on my electronic reader after watching the latest's news about computer hacking. It got me thinking...what if aliens hacked into my reading habits to find someone like me who liked alien romances. Wouldn't that be a perfect way to find women who might be willing to leaving Earth to find love among the stars...
I envisioned Star Wars meet Pretty Woman. And that, they say, was that. My story "An Alien Exchange" was born.
From the Inside Flap
I dedicate this book to those who are alone in a crowd. To those who are desperately trying to right a wrong they've done in the past. Sometimes taking a chance may seem crazy, but you'll never know until you try.
From the Back Cover
To Jacqueline Sweet - Gorgeous, gorgeous cover!
To my virtual guru Jenn Oliver. Without you, none of this would have been possible.
To my friends and mentors at "Barany's School of Fiction" - Beth and Ezra. You both rock the Kasbah...Of course, a quick shout out to Trent and Mary - fellow students and editors extraordinaire.
To my very special BFF's Barb and Marsha. Barb who loved me enough to let me know my hero was an asshole. Hate to admit it, but she was right so Qay got a makeover. Thank God you've never changed over the years...you trying to sell me off to some horny old guy all those years ago notwithstanding. And to Marsha for teaching me the true meaning of friendship and loyalty. Not to mention she's the best damn cheerleader anyone could ask for as I danced a jig on a bar counter.
To my children (you know who you are). You've kept me honest and (in)sane...not to mention giving me a greater purpose in life. You are practically perfect in every way. Just ask me, I'm not biased.
And last, but never least, to my hubs. You still see me as that shy eighteen-year-old redhead you first met all those years ago. I couldn't love you more for it. Let that wine bottle breathe, baby. I'll be right there.

About the author

Keri Kruspe, award-winning “Author of Otherworldly Romantic Adventures” loves nothing more than to write about romances that feature “feisty heroines who aren’t afraid to take a chance on life… or love”. Her writing career started when she became irritated that most SciFi romances had women kidnapped before they could find love. Determined to create something different, she turned “the alien kidnapping trope upside down” (Vine Voice) and the ALIEN EXCHANGE trilogy was born.
Keri’s latest SciFi Romance novel, ALIEN LEGACY: THE EMPATH, is the first in a five-book series of the Ancient Alien Descendants, taking the Ancient Alien motif and mixing it with a sensual, romantic twist.
A native Nevadan, Keri is a lifelong avid reader who lives in Northwestern Michigan with her hubby and the newest member of the family, a Jack Russell Terrier named Hestia. When not immersed in her made-up worlds, she enjoys discovering the fascinating landscape of her new home and pairing red wine with healthy ways to cook. Most of all, she loves finding her next favorite author.
If you want to know when Keri’s next book will come out, please visit her website at http:/kerikruspe.com, where you can sign up for her mailing list. You’ll get a FREE copy of the novella, The Day Behind Tomorrow that is a prologue to the ALIEN LEGACY series. Not to mention being kept updated on the life of a dedicated, obsessed author.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 14, 2024I loved this book from start to finish. Aimee is a very relatable and likeable female lead. She is paired with Qay who is a downright smexy and honorable Zerin prince. Both of these characters remain in character and follow the points logically.
I like the idea of 'The Exchange' selecting women from Earth who read books very much like this one to find mates throughout the Galaxy. I would really like to hear the stories of some of these other girls later down the road.
Of course there is villainy afoot and underhanded plots that keep you on the edge of your seat. These villains are top tier.
Also this is a complete side note, but I adore Qay's family dynamics between his father and cousins (made my heart melt).
- Reviewed in the United States on December 30, 2021The world building and character development took awhile. The first third of the book slow but once the characters were sufficiently developed the book became a fun and entertaining read. I will certainly look into the sequels.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 18, 2018I love Aimee and Qay's story. They meet, but he's not sure he's willing to make the sacrifices needed for his own happiness. Will he give up control so he can love her, or will he hold on to tradition? Even better, will Aimee forgive him for not giving in to his feelings the moment they meet?
Aimee knows Qay is what she wants, unfortunately, the entire universe, really, keeps getting in her way. And no matter what, she manages to pick up the pieces and keep a smile on her face. I need Aimee at my side coaching me!
I loved that Aimee wasn't a victim, even though she often was. I love that she questioned Qay and his motives at every turn. I hated that he made her wait for explanations, but I get it, life happens like that sometimes.
I would have liked to know more about the Zerin culture and world, but there are more books in this series, so maybe I just need to be patient.
GReat job, Keri Kruspe!
- Reviewed in the United States on June 21, 2019Which turned out to be a great choice. The opening chapters felt like I could be reading about myself. How Aimee our leading lady reads lots of Sci-fi romance novels with leading males that love their mates beyond all else and for eternity. Wishing she could have that type of love in her life but only believing it exists in her books. Then literally all of a sudden she wakes up and finds herself in an alien ship being offered the chance to find a soulmate. Skepticism is the prevailing original thoughts but once she realises all the things she's read about are true💖 Aimee is totally on board. In enter Quy our leading man / gorgeous alien male he never expected to meet a human let alone bond with one and all I can say is action ,adventure ,passion and misunderstanding abound but the story is compelling and I finished it in one sitting. Love it and can't wait to read the next book!💘
- Reviewed in the United States on April 6, 2019I like feisty heroines and Aimee definitely fit the bill. Qay or Qayyum if you prefer never stood a chance fighting his attraction to her. I just noticed something as I was typing his full name. At the end of it the word "yum" sticks out. That also made me smile and wonder if the author did that on purpose. I liked both of the main characters and I was rooting for their getting a H.E.A.
Gotta say, I got a big kick out of Qay's cousin D'zia. He's an alien for sure but he's hung around humans enough that he's picked up a lot of slang. He's hysterically funny and quite the imp. He was a hoot! I enjoyed his part in the book a lot. The other side-kick if you want to call him that is Qay's best friend, Ki. He is both his best friend and his head of secuity. Both men added a lot to the story and were 100% Team Qay and had proved it more than once. Their styles were totally different but the goals were the same when it came to backing Qay.
If you are looking for a book with a lot of action and adventure, yes this book has it. You know their is going to be alien sex but it's nice to know that there is an actual good story written as well.
There is a H.E.A for Qay and Aimee with most but not all villains overcome. I'm sure in the next adventure more will be done with that. The story continues with "D'zia's Dilemma." That should be fun.
“I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.”
- Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2022This was a romance full of action and deception. Commander Quay didn’t know what hit him when he meet the human Aimee. Their immediate attraction to each other kicks off a mate bond he has no hope of avoiding. But in spite if his determination fate has other plans. Enemies they don’t know they have are out to separate the two and all sorts of space drama happens before they get their HEA. I loved it.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 18, 2020Excellent start! New author for me and am now following. Was very surprised this unusual alien story had a strong quirky female with extraordinary sense of humor! Not to mention a bit quick tempered! Of course the Male didn't :( I will start the next one ASAP it's that good!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 23, 2024A twisty take on alien matching and lien abduction. I enjoy having strong main characters and hope to see more development of these as the books evolve. Looking forward to the next book.

4.0 out of 5 stars An Alien Exchange - Qay & Aimee's story
Interesting premise of asking the abducted humans and offering the opportunity of a lifetime to get the love of their dreams.
What I liked about Qay and Aimee's story is that it didn't go as planned. Attraction, connection, misunderstanding, treachery and slavery make this story. Particularly liked the supporting characters as well. I'm sure theirs will be just as interesting. I look forward to reading Ki's story.
