    I think it's time I took a break, maybe a spring break, somewhere in Colorado. Because baby there ain't no mountain high enough to keep me from getting to you babe AKA Nick. This story was such a sensual read between Nick and Colby with so many twists, I thought there couldn't possibly be anything else to come but boy was I wrong.

    Nick works at a ski resort, he's a mountain rescuer. God, he can rescue me anytime. He is completely gorgeous, well toned and as smooth as they come. He's a bit of a ladies man, definitely a love em and leave guy but without the love. He's not into having any kind of feelings involved. Well that's until Colby enters his life.

    Colby a woman who comes off as being angry against the world, it seems she hasn't made the best decisions so far in her life and has suffered through heartache but I don't think anything quite prepares her for the delicious Nick.
    Colby is taking an unwanted break with her co workers and ends up having to be rescued by Nick. It is certainly a moment in her life she is unlikely to forget.

    With a storm brewing Nick has to get Colby to shelter. Taking her back to the cabin she was sharing with her co workers but they have already been safely taken down from the mountain. It's just Nick and Colby stuck in a cabin with not a single person around. Lucky Colby. The attraction these two feel is powerful beyond words. It's more than the fire burning in that cabin, let me tell you.

    When the storm is over will the passion be over between them? Or will it still melt the snow? LOL. Communication is sometimes not everybody's strong point. Colby is miserable and needs to change things in her life. Nick is miserable and his best friend, Glen decides to set him up with, Lana. Lana is....let's say she's easy, Lol!! I think after reading this book. I would love to hear her story. I especially want to hear more about Glen.

    I think it's safe to say, I thoroughly enjoy this journey with Nick and Colby. It was a beautiful yet steamy romance. If you love romance with some sexy scenes that could melt the ice off a mountain top then this book is for you.

    When I first looked at this book I was terrified that what would happen would be classic Hero syndrome where the heroine just falls in love with the person who saves her because that is what happens in a lot of those situations-- what i didn't expect would be a love story that can really move you. Classic romance, classic story with its out twists x I love love love Ann Listers work!

    Colby is a city girl. She's from sunny California, and she's not a fan of cold weather. Needless to say, she's not extremely happy when she has to attend a mandatory company retreat in Colorado... in the mountains...in the snow! Her "awesome" trip gets even better when she hikes off on her own, twists her ankle, and ends up stranded on a mountain in the middle of a snow storm - soon to be blizzard.

    Luckily for Colby, there are men like Nick.

    Nick is a snow-loving Mountain Man who works with the Search and Rescue Team for Colorado's Sun Ridge Ski Resort. He also happens to be the beautiful, kindhearted man who comes to Colby's rescue and consequently winds up trapped with her in a cabin. So, it's just the two of them. All alone. For days.

    Nick and Colby are instantly attracted to each other, and their attraction quickly turns into something bigger, something neither one of them expected. But how can two people be together when their lives are so different?

    An Early Spring by Ann Lister is a sweet and sexy romance novel that's easy to get lost in. With well-developed characters, a well-crafted, entertaining story line, and out-of-this-world chemistry, An Early Spring is the perfect pick for fans of adult romance!

    One of the many things that Ann Lister does remarkably well is she takes her characters on a journey. Throughout this novel, her characters evolve emotionally and physically, individually and as a couple. Both of the main characters are struggling with their own issues at the beginning of this novel. Collectively, they are coping with guilt, loss, betrayal, and more. If you compare the characters at the beginning of this novel to who they are at the end of this novel, you will see very different people. I didn't always like the characters choices, but I always liked the characters. And more than anything, I loved watching them develop into the character's they were meant to be.

    Another thing Ann Lister does exceptionally well is she brings the HEAT! She isn't afraid to fog up your e-reader with her steamy sex scenes, and I love her for that. Colby and Nick had a ton of passion and chemistry, and Ms. Lister knew exactly what to do with it. :)

    I gave An Early Spring by Ann Lister 5 STARS. I strongly recommend this sweet and sexy romance novel to adults!

    can be packed into one book? i dunno because i am returning this having got only 20% in. i just couldn't stand any more.

    i hate author whose character are always _thinking_ how great other character is, but the author never _shows_ any of that greatness. is just lazy writing. is not believable. i'm not feeling it and in a romance that's a full fail.
