    BOOK REVIEW

    ANEW: Book One: AWAKENED
    ANEW: Book Two: HUNTED
    ANEW: Book Three: ENTWINED
    By
    JOSIE LITTON
THIS BOOK IS FOR A MATURE AUDIENCE AS IT CONTAINS SEXUAL CONTENT.
I happened upon book one of this series via an e-mail and after reading a description of the story purchased it. My first thought was wow, what a unique concept. Right from the beginning it held my attention and as quickly as i read book one i couldn’t wait to start reading the next in the series. The story is a futuristic romance at it’s best, thoroughly entertaining, the main characters were ones that i became attached to immediately and loved for a variety of reasons. The authors descriptions didn’t leave out a thing and one could visibly see the surroundings as if one was there. What a magnificent, creative imagination to write such a marvelous and erotic story.
The story takes place in the future where the whole of society is very different from today. It’s also about the love and chemistry of two very different people and how they come together. Ian, strong and powerful and a force to be reckoned with and Amelia, beautiful, strong willed, and entering into a world totally unfamiliar to her, and yet they are the perfect couple, the sex scenes were beyond intimate, so sensual. This is science fiction cloning at it’s best. It also explores societies conditions and how those issues are addressed. It gives us thought as to what kinds of effects cloning has for the future especially with our current research into our DNA and stem cell research.
So, yes i highly recommend this series, it’s one you will really love if you like science fiction.
It’s simply amazing. I would tell you more but truly do not want to ruin it by giving anymore away.
    Until next time……..booksraddicting.com

Well written enjoyable read. The storyline is original but I miss fuller character development of the Hero, and how feelings evolve over and beyond explosive sexual attractions. It seems The H is deeply conflicted between his passion for and disgust/rejection of the same thing, is this 'thing' sexual sadism - wanting to inflict bondage and pain at the same time fiercely protective of women and abhore their abuse? Not sure as I have only read the first of three books in the series.

I think the first thing that should be mentioned is that once you get past the copious amount of sex in the beginning, the story itself really unfolds. Without giving too much away, think of this as a sci-fi dystopian sleeping Beauty with cloning. You think theres going to be some things that happen, and they don't. Maybe they happen later in future books, but some people put this book down becuase they dont realize that the real meat of the story happens at about 40 percent through.

Its not a stand alone book, so I feel like the first part of the book, is really intense, to help you understand the fear of Amelia' s situation. You kind of feel like she does throughout the book, that maybe she doesn't have a strong Agency, but when you get to the end you realize she's a lot stronger than you've been giving her credit for. I ALMOST put it down, and then I realized how much the choices she makes and the feelings she has were very much like what I might feel.

I loved this book. I think if you have an understanding of what it's like to truly love someone and to be willing to love them flaws and all, even if you dont exactly know why you do, you will love it. If you've ever tried to save a man from himself, you'll love it. If you like books with sex, you'll love it.

I personally LOVE charecters who are flawed, and try to find ways to fix themselves, so this book really resonates with me. I admire Ian and the way he tries so hard to control himself. The book doesnt take the path you would expect, and by the end you'll be glad you stuck with it and be invested to get to know them more, faults and all.

This is also one of those books you find yourself screaming at the charecters, and this book does that well. I love books that get me that emotionally involved.

If I could give Josie Litton ALL THE STARS I would. 5 just doesn't seem like enough.

O.K. but way too predictable and slow moving. I stopped reading several times during the first 4 chapters but kept going back.

I have waited YEARS for Josie Litton to write again. Even though I could not find anything online, I had hope that she would come back.
    Did she ever!!!
Wow this book is amazing on all levels! The storyline, the character building, the plot, the details, the grammar! (LOL). I'm absolutely in love with this new series. I'm infinitely glad I already have the next two books on my Kindle.
Josie, I'm a lifetime fan. Please don't leave so long again. Also, if you have a fan page. Please let me know. I absolutely adore your writing! Xx

Descriptions of a futuristic world and society are believable and easy to imagine… Definite hint of danger and excitement to come... Leaves you waiting for the next chapter (book)... Just too weird for me. A clone is made from a dead girlfriend initially because of an illness. The girlfriends brain-like whatever is downloaded into the clone. BUT, the clone is then implanted with all this stuff so that she is the boyfriend's perfect sex toy. The boyfriend is driven mad with lust and cannot control himself when around her (the clone). With all of the Grey stuff, I think that many women may find this exciting, but for me, it is just too far out there - and I love sci-fi.

As with all of Josie"s novels, it is very steamy, though with a storyline & characters that you become invested in. Amelia is a "replica" of Ian's deceased wife. Many are not happy about replicas & want to do away with them. There is much emotional turmoil between the two and I'm looking forward to seeing where their story goes.

4.0 out of 5 stars A lot of sex but there is also a plot!
Reviewed in Canada on March 19, 2015
This is another erotic story about a rich, dominant man and virgin, except the virgin is a human clone of the man's dead girlfriend! Amelia isn't just a clone but has improvements chosen by the dead girlfriend in order to better please the man, Ian. This explains why Amelia and Ian have an instant attraction to each other. It does seem like insta-love or more accurately insta-lust and they fall into bed with each other pretty well immediately. Amelia is disturbed by her instinct to submit to Ian and fights against it. She isn't sure if she lusts for him because she is programmed to or if she has free will. A clone doesn't even have human status and instead is a possession, and she is owned by Ian. Anti-cloning groups threaten to destroy all replicas and the facilities that produce them putting Amelia in a precarious situation.
There is a lot of sex but there is also a plot to this story as Ian tries to protect her from the anti-cloning people and Amelia tries to live life like a normal human woman. There is a potential for conflict also between the elites and the lower classes who live to serve them. It is a bit reminiscent of The Hunger Games with the elites in the city being very much like the flamboyant citizens in the Capitol. Everything is set up for an epic war/rebellion which I'm assuming will occur in the next books in the series.
