Niel Bushnell is an award-winning science-fiction and fantasy author based in the north-east of England.

As well as writing a number of Doctor Who audiobooks, Niel is the author of the Arkship Saga, a science-fiction series set in the distant future after the Earth has been destroyed along with the rest of the solar system in a cataclysmic event known as the Fracture. He is also the author of two time-travel children's books called Sorrowline and Timesmith, and a Young-Adult novel called Altitude.

An accomplished artist and animator, Niel has worked in the creative sector for over twenty years, across film, TV, online, games, advertising and publishing.

    Prince Halstead is trapped by Valtais Valene when Prince Duluc comes to the rescue. Wynn and Bara go for dinner at the arkship of Duluc's where Bara feels like home. More fighting, some good things,some really bad things and possibly a New beginning for the Kenric family.

    Bushnell has scored the perfect 'triple play's with Arkship Alliance. The House of Dregg is hell-bent on becoming master's of the galaxy and only Wynn and his few allies are left in the way.
    Bushnell weaves a complex plot with more twists and turns than a Boa Constrictor! There are stunning victories and heart-breaking losses along the way, but Wynn and company try to find creative solutions. Just when you think that you have figured out Bushnells plot twists, here comes another startling curve from left field.
    I happily award this edition 5 stars and highly recommend this read!

    The best part of this series so far is the writers ability to keep multiple plots running concurrently without making me feel overloaded or lost. I haven't needed an index or notes to keep track of who is who, but there is significant substance to each group. I feel at home in the universe he has created, and can't help but wonder what the future holds.

    I am really enjoying his series, and I think the comparison to Battlestar Galactica is appropriate. The book is entertaining and a quick read, well worth picking it up. If you are using a Kindle, go ahead and get the full set. You won't regret it.

    and many more die in the Arkship that uses its Cube drive escaping a battle. The ship breaks into and murders its families, mechanics and other crew members. Still the Church is more worried about its plan reforming the planets than the wars and deaths. So scary!

    Niel Bushnell's Arkship Saga truly gets epic with book 3, ARKSHIP ALLIANCE. After their battle in the last book, rivalry between houses Kenric and Draig continues to simmer as more houses join the conflict to muddy the waters (or should that be nebula?).
    Houses Dulac, Li Zhang, Jackson, Fedorov, Addington, Khanna and Clan Sinclair all find themselves caught between the bitter rivalry of Kenric and Draig - now led by the scheming Valtais Valine. Like a well planned game of chess moves, Niel's writing and familiarity with his characters shows.
    With even more characters and a seemingly endless fleet of Arkships coming together, this book could well be Prince 'Wynn' Halstead's Trafalgar. Loyalties switch, and victories are not without their price and in room 113 of the Icarus, what's left of a key character just about hangs on to life.
    The pace of the story is only rivalled by the writing speed of Mr Bushnell, as book 4 is only a matter of months away. Yes!!
