Written by Monique Orgeron’s eldest, most beautiful, and intelligent daughter. (My sister is going to hate this part.)

My mom happens to be the most caring, loving, and stubborn person I know, well anyone knows. She gives 100% percent of herself to everyone and has given up so much of herself for my sister and I. For twenty-one years she has poured her heart and soul into making sure we know that we are loved and that we can do anything we put our minds too, but it was about time she figured that out about herself.

Up until this year, I hadn’t seen my mom do anything for only her, but this book has allowed her to travel the world through the pages of a book, make new friends, and feel the joy of doing something exciting.

There is a new light behind her eyes and it is just making me feel more joy than she can ever imagine. While she might be annoying most of the time, I am so thrilled that she is finally allowing herself to grow as a person and not spend all of her energy on her family.

It has been a long journey of self-discovery for my mom; she has gone from domestic supermom to domestic goddess throughout the process of writing.

We are so very excited and proud of you! I love you as big as the world.

    Let’s talk about some hot stuff. Art of Seduction, Book 1 of A Stern family saga is going to be a must read for any New Adult Romance lover is not going to want to miss.

    So before getting more into detail about the book let me give you some little fun facts.

    The last time I crushed on the female lead of a book was way back in February when I read Long May She Reign by Rhiannon Thomas.
    This book was the cause of me witnessing Daylight savings time change. It made me feel so awesome, like I traveled back in time.
    It’s been awhile since I pulled an all-nighter just to finish a book with being disrupted.
    From what I can gather this it the debut of Monique Orgeron. Lets just say she is off to a phenomenal start of a promising career. And I for one look forward to reading more of her work.

    My first thoughts of this book were The Godfather (1972) and The Princess Diaries (2001) with a splash of Pretty women (1990). Yeah, I know, you’re probably sitting there saying what kind of Cluster (excuse my language.) Fuckery is that. So let me break this down so you can see where it is exactly I’m coming from. Please just take these as reference points to grasp the feel of the book. The book is in no way a copy of anyone of these movies.

    The Godfather; the Stern family is not to be messed with, and Catherine (the patriarch of the Stern Family) is our Don Vito Corleone. She doesn’t take crap from anyone and when she wants something done, it gets done. When she wants for her family, she gets for her family she is not to be messed with in a shape or form. The Stern Family is one you do not want to cross ever, unless you‘re just threw with life. And let’s just say mother knows best.

    The Princess Diaries; Fallon (thinking about her has my heart thumping), My goodness what a fantastic character. Very seldom do I fall for the women more than the Man. Sorry Gabriel, but she is the star of this show (for me anyways), she is strong, fierce and on a mission to be what Catherine molds her to become: a wife for her oldest son. Let’s just Fallon does the job asked of her. Going in with the intent to leave love out of the equation, to move up in the world and out of the slums she grew up in. You see, Catherine needs to control, she controls her life and the lives of those she loves. She finds Fallon and takes her time to mold her to the strong, fierce women in which I’ve come to love. Sort of like what the Grandmother does for Princess Mia (Anne Hathaway).

    Pretty Woman; Pretty Woman is about the transformation of not only Vivian (Julia Roberts) but also the growth of Edward (Richard Gere) learning to open his heart before it’s too late. Now swap Edward & Vivian for Gabriel & Fallon. Orgeron truly created a wonderful development for these cast.

    Now don’t think ok.“So you gave me all these movies options I think I got the book figured out.” Trust me don’t, like the are hidden right there in there under you nose and you still don’t see them. As I read I became more engrossed that I just kept reading. Even when I put it down to get sleep, it didn’t happen. I picked it right back up. I had to finish. I did not see the many turns this one took. And interestingly enough all the secrets, twists and turns made absolute logical sense. Sometimes authors add them in and you’re baffled as to why, but that doesn’t happen here. Monique Orgeron carefully crafted a well scripted plot to give just the right amount of information needed to string you along to wanting more. There are some pretty epic twist that come your way. I wish I could spill the beans, but after you read it you‘ll get why I can’t.

    Fallon was lost before finding the Stern family. It was just her and her mother or the system (foster care). She grew up fighting just to survive her life. The Stern family is composed of Catherine (Mother) and her boys Gabriel, Zander, Liam and Vin (the not brother but brother). Each of the books in the Saga is for them. And let just say all the men will leave an impression on you. Because as I was reading not only did I want to read about Fallon & Gabriel I found my mind crossing over to the other boys lives and wondering what Catherine has in store for them. I’m definitely hook on learning more about the Stern family.

And Fallon does the job asked of her. Going in with the intent to leave love out of the equation, Catherine needs to control the lives of those she loves. She finds Fallon and takes her time to mold her into a fierce women in which you the reader will come to love.

    Gabriel rebels against his mother at every turn, he knows she is trying to control him so he fights every step as he falls in Love with Fallon...
    Gabriel is the oldest and "in charge" of the casino and how things are ran but, he is also the leader in their .. what one could say is like a mafia lifestyle without being mafiosa's ...if that's possible.. each brother has a position and love to tease one another... Vin seems to be closest to Catherine ... but Zander recognizes Fallon is a true and Honest Love for Gabriel even tho his older brother is fighting his attraction...and Liam is the cutie who has a heartfelt soift side to his character...

    As you are reading you will not see the many turns this one takes. And interestingly enough the secrets, twists and turns make absolute logical sense. Sometimes authors add them in and you’re baffled as to why, but that doesn’t happen here. a well scripted plot to give just the right amount of information needed to string you along to wanting more. VERY FEW Authors Know how to write like this ...

    This story wraps up a Love so profound you won't want to stop till done and then you BREATHE....
    Fallon was lost before finding the Stern family. It was just her and her mother or the (foster care)system. She grew up fighting just to survive for her life. The Stern family is composed of Catherine (Mother) and her boys Gabriel, Zander, Liam and Vin (the brother but yet not a brother). all the men will leave an impression on you. Because as I was reading not only did I want to read about Fallon & Gabriel ........
    I found my mind crossing over to the other guys lives and wondering what Catherine will have in store for them. I’m definitely excited about learning more of the Stern family....
    and even tho I read this back in 2018 .. and so did not remember :) after all those yrs I was truly impressed and so found a new read :)

    Art of Seduction is the first book in A Stern Family Saga. This is Gabriel and Fallon's story and it was amazing. Once I started reading Art of Seduction I just couldn't put the book down. Fallon's mother drank alot and turned her out when she was 18. Catherine Stern is the matriarch of the Stern family, and took Fallon under her wing. She trains Fallon to be the perfect lady for her son Gabriel. Of course, Gabriel has no idea of this. I loved watching the evolution of Fallon's character. This book takes you on a journey with so many twists and turns, intrigue, with plenty of emotional depth, and the love of family. It's a beautiful story that's wonderfully written with strong and intriguing characters. I just can't recommend this book enough.

Now she breeds Fallon into a beautifully well spoken , educated and sophisticated young lady. She is to catch the eye of one of Catherine’s sons. Gabriel the eldest son runs the family casino with his two other brothers Zander and Liam. He’s tough and hot. Takes no shit from anyone. You mess with his family , you will feel his wrath. And when these two finally meet? Oh man what can I say it’s definitely worth the read. It’s hot , sexy , thrilling etc. I highly recommend this story. Now onto Liam’s story.

    I am truly hooked on the Sterns.
    Gabriel and Fallon are made for each other . Their chemistry is off the chart.
    Mommy dearest although devoted to her boys doesn't trust them to find the right fit for them or their FAMILY business.
    Enter Fallon. She's a waitress from the wrong side of the track, so when a mysterious women keeps showing up at the diner she works telling her she will totally transform her life on the condition that she marries one of her sons, preferably Gabriel her eldest, Fallon is tempted.
    Gabriel does his best to resist, liking his life the way it is. He hates that his mother tries to manipulate all their lives so resents Fallon.
    This is a fabulous story full of twists and turns. My only bad point it that it FINNISHED

    This book hooked me from the very first page! The author's writing style was easy to fall in to and the story became compulsive reading. It had strong characters, dark themes but not overly graphic if you are faint hearted, sexual tension that will blow you away, the testosterone levels between all the males was scorching.

    There are multiple POVs but predominantly the main POV is that of Fallon; the book has a fast pace as past secrets start to unravel. I had an inkling for some of the secrets but I don't think I was truly prepared for them all. I really can't decide which son I like, they all have redeeming qualities and I'm looking forward to getting to know them all. I still have questions but I'm sure this will all be answered as each of the sons get to tell their story.

    As a first book this author has outdone herself. There is humour, as well as emotional moments woven through this and the author has created a great range of emotions that will keep you turning the pages right to the very end. This book came highly recommended and I'm so glad I took the chance. There is no cliff hanger but the ending does lead nicely into book 2.

    This really wasn't for me. I felt like a lot happened in this book but it all fluttered past me as most of the book was staying that something was going to happen and that it did happen but the reader couldn't experience it.
    for that reason, I didn't connect to the main characters, or other "chemistry" . I felt all the characters were quite robotic in how they spoke and their actions, the only personality I picked up from a character was one of the brothers.
