    I really enjoyed this tale, and I’m glad I read it. The characters were well created and introduced. The chemistry between the characters was plausible and drew my interest. Their personalities meshed well, without being overblown. I loved the occasional shout outs to some of my favorite books and movies, such as Princess Bride. The ‘mysterious past’ bit got a little annoying, but I’m glad it was strung out because it worked. The Australian accent was nicely subtle, just a few phrases here and there to remind the reader where the main character was from. I loved the end note about the different versions of the story, especially as one critique would have been for Jason to have a deeper menace in the story. But it seems the author already explored that option and it was too dark. I recommend this book who like romances with lots of tangles and happy endings. The biggest quibble I have is that the paragraphs had big chunks that weren’t indented. That inconsistent formatting made it difficult to read and keep track of the paragraphs, but the overall editing was good.

    I always say the last book in a series was my favorite, but I think this one is my favorite. Luke and Ivy just seem to belong together, even if there are lots of plot twists keeping them apart. I LOVED these characters and their chemistry together. Super excited for the next book in the series! Hoping for a few mentions in the new book about Luke and Ivy. Couldn’t put this one down, but also didn’t want it to end.

    This story was amazing. We met Luke in the first book and now he's getting his own love story. Ivy is the woman he can stop thinking about even if it was just a one night stand ten years ago. Now that they're together again, what could possibly go wrong? But after another year apart and more misunderstandings, they are finally getting their happy ending and it's so well deserved. Another wonderful book from J. Saman.

    I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this book and her style of writing. This book kept me engaged every second of reading it, I couldn't put it down? I enjoyed the storyline, the depth of the characters and the flow of the book. You will not be disappointed. It's a must read. This is my first book from this author but it won't be the last. Another new favorite!!

    I love this author but this book was a real let down. It seemed to drag on a lot, and didn’t have any decent steamy scenes. This is the first time I’ve ever skipped or skim read this author. Also a lot of issues with the “Australian” terms. Like “righto” does not mean okay/right/yes, and we don’t use C U * T for everyday language. It would’ve been good to been edited by an Aussie.
