    I loved each of the books in the boxed set. The stories are original and the character are amazing. The stories are all based on the main characters, the choices and mistakes they've made and what they do to correct them. They were all absolutely wonderful stories. This is a must read if you like shifters.

    Running to the Pack - WOW! This first book of the series blew me away. I could not put it down once I started. I really liked Hailey and was able to relate to her on a level that I didn't think I would have seen in a book. I loved her sister Olivia and I love love love love loved Cole. I liked Pierce, he seemed nice for the short time I got to meet him in the book. Not sure what to make of Cole's mother or Amy. Liked Lance. I did not care for Axel. How all these people know one another and the things that happened blew me away. Oh, did I say yet I really hate Frank and wanted to kill him? How Hailey finds out about certain things and the things that happen to her when she runs to her sister's house are quite interesting. Enjoy the read. If I try to say more about the book, I will post spoilers.

    Defending the Pack - What an incredible second book of the series. There was so much going on and it was so intense that I could not stop reading it when I started. What happens when the Tribunal comes to town? Who comes? What happens? What happens with Hailey and Cole is so fun to watch, but at the same time, scary when things happen to Hailey. Will Cole be able to help her in time? What unexpected help does Cole enlist? Who is Liam? What happens with Axel? Who goes with Cole on his mission? I really liked Trixie! I hope to see more of her in book three! There truly isn't much I can say without giving away the plot of the book. Just know it is intense and a great read. It kept me on the edge of my seat.

    Uniting the Pack - In this third book of the Sawtooth Peaks series, we once again follow the brothers, Cole and Lance. This book is truly focused on Lance more than Cole in this case. While Cole is off with Hailey on their honeymoon, Lance is taking care of things at Sawtooth Den. Who calls looking for Cole and what does the person want? This book was NOT what I was expecting it to be, but it was so much more. It was tense, intense, made me smile, made me want to cry, and made me cheer. You're going to have to read it to find out what happened that did all that to me!

    Howling with the Pack - I have to say I think this was the most fun of the Protectors of the Pack series for me. We got to know more about Amy and we really got into the mind of Harkins and who he is. It was a real treat to read about both of them. Amy is off to visit her family and their families for Christmas. There is an accident on the way to her parent's house. What happens? When Amy's family calls, looking for her, what does Harkins do? What does he find out? What are the next steps he takes to help resolve the situation? Who was in the accident? What happened? When Harkins finds Amy, things get interesting. Watching the two have true interaction in the book and it being all about them was a blast. Man, there were some moments that I was like, "OH ***T!" and wasn't sure either one of them would make it. You're going to have to read to find out what actually happens.

    Leaving the Pack - Why is Axel traveling from bar to bar to bar across the USA? What is this man running from or running to? What happens when he finds himself in Louisiana? What is happening in the town of Corbeau? Who is Raven? Is that her real name or not? Why does Axel call her that? Little does he know how appropriate it is. What happens that causes him to follow her one night after leaving the bar and what does he run across? Who is behind what is going on in the town of Corbeau? Why is Raven so hell-bent on Revenge? How does Axel feel about that? What does he say to her? What does he do with her? This was a fun novella to read. It is quite a bit different from Sawtooth Peaks in some ways, but still very much the Angry Axel we know from the series. Enjoy the read!

    In Book 2 Cole and Hailey have mated, she has accepted his mate mark, however, they are not announcing it to either world. She can't tell her sister without exposing Cole's secret. He doesn't want to add more fuel to the family infighting when his mother finds out he has declined Alpha status by mating with a human. 

    They move in together, despite the danger held over them from a violent pack and the situation with her stalker. New relationships are difficult at best. Will the uncertainty separate them or make them closer? 

    This will not only test the couple's relationship but loyalty, strength of the pack and family. Will they end up together as a couple and a separate pack, or will the evil one be strong enough to take over?

    Another good read with strong characters, both shifter and human. Don't miss this action packed, steamy, emotional story. Now on to the conclusion in book three.

    1. Running to the Pack - Cole & Hailey (Cole is being pushed to find mate so he can become Alpha by his mother. Hailey is human and his old gf running from an abusive ex.)

    2. Defending the Pack - (Cole has made Hailey his mate but hasn't told his pack yet. It negates him being the Alpha. Two of his pack is missing and feared killed by a rival pack, and his mother angers Crazy Eyes putting Hailey and others in danger)

    3. Uniting the Pack - Trixie & Lance (Left with the aftermath of Crazy Eye Trixie a widow now sets about cleaning up. Lance, Cole's half brother is asked by Trixie to help while he now hs to consider if he wants to be Alpha)

    4. Howling with the Pack - Amy & Harkin (Harkin fights his feelings for Amy until a snowstorm strands them in a old cabin)

    5. Leaving the Pack - Axel & Penny (Axel's stop in a new place see's Penny a different breed of shifter fighting what she tells him are Zombies. Together they try to solve the mystery of where these Zombies are coming from and to stop them)

    The first books weren’t too bad but the last one left me cold. I didn’t understand Hailey (book 1) at all. She had an AVO out against the mad doctor but didn’t report him to the police after he came into her place. She just ran and didn’t even tell her friends and sister about him. I suppose that set the whole tone of the set and it was a struggle to read them through.
