The Baby Game (The Alpha Series Book 3) Kindle Edition
The next installment of the bestselling Alpha Series sees the return of Ronnie in the romantic comedy THE BABY GAME. Ronnie Taylor and husband Harry had agreed they’d wait a few years until starting a family. So when Ronnie discovers she’s pregnant after being a bit too casual with her contraception, she finds herself in a dilemma. Harry is taking his mother on the trip of a lifetime at the same time as their bundle of joy is due. If she tells him, he’ll cancel the trip and she doesn’t want his mother to miss out. In typical Ronnie style, she ropes in TV Researcher and friend Nina, and pretends she’s filming a reality show about eating junk food. She’s going to blame all her baby weight gain on burgers. Surely she can’t get away with it? Or can she..? With cravings for dog food, a mission to match-make her midwife and a never-to-be forgotten speech for a Healthy Eating charity event, it’s another hilarious adventure with the loveable, crazy ‘ladygardener’.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 15, 2017Ronnie's back and she's funnier than ever. I thought it was hilarious that she thought she could pass off her pregnancy as gaining weight because of fast food. The relationship between Ronnie and Harry is so sweet. Their story is a sweet humorous, heartwarming great read I highly recommend this book and all the books in The Alphabet Series. Andie M. Long really knows how to write a great book.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 1, 2017This is the funniest book I've so far by Andie Long. Yes, book #2 was cute, but Veronica has gone beyond all measures this time.
She's a newlywed who just found out she's pregnant way too soon, at least it is in her mind. She makes up a fake "eating-unhealthy diet" to explain her 9 month long weight gain to her husband. Harry had promised his mother a trip together to Canada at the end of her pregnancy, Ronnie knows that his mom has been looking forward to this trip for years. She doesn't want her mother-in-law to resent her for messing up their long awaited trip. So she cleverly and stupidly finds ways to excuse her hormonal mood changes, her over protective dog who refuses to leave her side, and to show occasional fast food wrappers, to keep up the ruse. Even though she's pregnant, she's been eating VERY healthy for herself and the baby; but Harry doesn't know that...yet.
I LOL'd so much I couldn't help myself. Ronnie constantly gets herself into these situations, that you have to really wonder about her mindset sometimes.
A must read!!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 6, 2017What a great read from new to me author Andie M. Long! The sexy cover and book blurb is what drew me into this entertaining and very funny short story.
When Ronnie Taylor finds out she is pregnant, she decides to keep the news to herself because her beloved husband will be on a highly anticipated holiday with his mother, a few weeks before her due date. Ronnie does not want to prevent them from taking this trip, so she concocts an interesting story about her future weight gain, which keeps their plans intact.
This book has some very funny moments and the couple's sexy times are seductive. All the characters are likable and easy to get to know. I am looking forward to more from this author.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2017An amazing story of love, friendship, lack of observation skills and lies. Ronnie is the kind of person we all want to be friends with. She's pushy, opinionated, loud and honest, usually. Keeping secrets will almost always kick you in the butt. I truly loved this book. Great read.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 10, 2017This is the perfect rom com novella! I absolutely adore Ronnie. I fell in love with her in The Calendar Games. She makes me laugh and finds herself in situations that are absolutely hysterical. What she considers normal is far out of the norm, it is always a guaranteed laugh. This book is well written and a laugh on every page. Ronnie and Harry fell in love in The Calendar Games, so if you haven't read that book, you should pick that one up first. Ronnie is a hoot and the situations she finds herself in....well only Ronnie can find herself in these situations! Really fun, quick read.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 11, 2017This is another great story by Ms. Long. Ronnie is such a great character. Only she can pull off hiding a pregnacy for as long as she did. I love ed all the characters in this series. It was great when Stella's water broke in the store. IThe best part was at the end the talk between Ronnie and Andie. I hope to see these characters again.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 27, 2017I liked the story but thought the h was crazy to try and hide a pregnancy for as long as she did. Definitely, a different take on the typical romance novel.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2016Andie is a new author to me and I enjoyed reading The Baby Game more than I thought I would. The blurb is great for this book. I definitely want to read more of Ronnie and The Alpha series.
Ronnie is stubborn, spunky, lovable, and tries to play matchmaker. She's a reality TV star. She is pregnant and it is not what her and Harry are ready for. Harry is retired from football but does filming. He and his mother are planning for a vacation. It doesn't seem like Ronnie is the only one with a secret. There's humor and romance. There were times I was yelling at Ronnie for her to tell the truth but I did enjoy her personality.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Baby Game by Andie M. Long the funniest Five-star read I have ever read
The Baby Game by Andie M. Long the funniest Five-star read I have ever read. Veronica Taylor may be battier than a fruit cake, but she is also by far the funniest character I have ever read, I loved her in the previous books in the Alpha series, The Alphabet game, the Alphabet wedding and the Calendar game, any woman who turns up to be maid of honour in an Elsa dress, is a legend in my eyes. I didn’t think it was possible to laugh so hard, I snorted red wine from my nostrils and the warning is true you need a Tena lady to read this book!!
Poor Harry Taylor didn’t really take on board what he was marrying when him and Ronnie wed, sure he knew she had her quirks, they met in rehab. But I don’t think he was anticipating this level of cray-cray. When Ronnie finds out they are in the family way, after they agreed to wait a couple of years to enjoy time together alone, she does what seems normal to herself, she pretends that she is doing a documentary about eating junk food, but she does it with the best intentions. Harry hasn’t always been the settled and sorted hottie ex-footballer he is now, and his mum has finally agreed to go on a once in a life time trip with her son. As any good daughter in law knows, you don’t upset your mother in law, (believe me mine still won’t talk to me 10 years later, so I totally get Ronnie).
In true Ronnie fashion, much hilarity ensues and she proves that just the right amount of crazy really does make the best mix. I would love for Ronnie to be a real person, I would stalk her in real life just to make sure we would get along if things developed as that’s totally normal, isn’t it?
Must say you have to read after the end to understand the genius mind that the funny and amazing Ronnie comes from.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great!
Ronnie is unique!! She's back in this funny novel with the most weird idea: hiding a pregnancy!
The story is funny, the characters are alive, as always in this series, and you'll laugh a lot!!
But the best part arrives at the end of the book, turn the page and...surprise!!! A funny conversation between Ronnie and the author waits for you! So be sure that this book won't be the last you'll hear of Ronnie Taylor!

5.0 out of 5 stars 'True Ronnie Style'....LOVED IT!
Reviewing for ROCK HARD ROMANCE*
'I'm growing my own internal broad bean'
I loved this!
Why?? Well as a fan of the whole 'Alpha Series',for me it was an added gem that, yes to some who haven't read the previous books(and that poses the question of WHY NOT??!!) the concept of 'hiding a pregnancy' for pretty much the entire time would seem utterly crazy and impossible-However,to those of us who have already seen the antics of Veronica (Ronnie) from her side character in The Alphabet Game to her own story The Calendar Game etc, this is 'True Ronnie Style'! It is hilarious and I found myself laughing out loud all the way through, from the references to Grey's Anatomy,Food Babies,'ladygardens',glitter and Fifty Shades..also it was great to have the characters from the previous books feature, and I do hope that this will NOT be the last that we see of ALL of them (not pressure Andie!!)

5.0 out of 5 stars Omg! Read this in one day!
The blurb on this book talks about peeing yourself laughing and its not kidding! How have I not come across this author before?
This book is clever, funny and just a breath of fresh air from all those "samey" love stories that seem to be saturating the book world right now. Ronnie is a fantastic character and I loved her, but some of the stuff she gets up to - had me in stitches!! Just downloaded the previous books from this series to catch up, but it works quite well as a stand alone too.
