    ** spoiler alert ** Ivan spent 10 years in prison, Barrett waited for him for years. One in denial, one ready to start living. Will Ivan be able to overcome his ghosts? Will Barrett get everything he has always wanted?

    Have to say these two pulled my heart strings. Ivan went through so much to protect those he loved and I loved seeing him come into his true self and accept the love presented to him. While naive, I loved how Barrett accepted those around him and proved to Ivan he was worth it. Absolutely loved these two!

    I received a copy of this book from the author, A.D. Ellis through instafreebies.

    I wasn't sure what to expect when I started this book but it was really good. The plot was interesting. The romance was sweet and permeated the entire book. I really enjoyed the '5 Dates' and Ivan's reactions during each.

    The friendship that deepened between Alexis and Barrett was rich and wonderful. Adding in some Russian mafia figures was unexpected. I wasn't sure the reason for them being there was believable but based on the explanation given and the emotions tied to the item their visit fit well.

    I don't see that there is a sequel to Barrett, Ivan, Alexi and Keith's story but I'll be reading the rest of the series so I'll be looking for them!

The author has weaved a story that pulled me in right away and kept me reading me reading until I turned the last page. I cried a little and laughed quite a bit, especially at some of Ivan’s reactions to things. I look forward to reading more from this author.

    Barrett and Ivan knew each other since they were young. They were like brothers along with Ivan's sister. Ivan went to jail for ten years for killing his sister's abusive boyfriend. Barrett and Lexi stayed living together throughout this time. During this time Barrett couldn't stop thinking of Ivan. When Ivan got out, Lexi and Barrett had had successes. Ivan moved in with them. The emotions and love came out. This was an awesome book filled will laughter, tears, love and many different feelings. Loved learning about the characters in this book. Awww book.

    Another great story in her Something About Him series! From when Ivan kisses Barrett until Barrett makes him realize that the grown up him wants him and only him, this book gives the reader a great story to read! Ivan meant the kiss to be what puts him in the right section while in prison and for Barrett it only deepened his crush. When Ivan gets out of prison he finally admits to his feelings for Barrett and that's the beginning of their love story. But as with all great love stories their path isn't smooth but then again if you know what you want and you'll hold on to the light at the end of the tunnel.

    The author knows how to tell a love story, doesn't matter what kind. The characters you get to know so you can understand them the way you should. Love how sassy Barrett is and Lexi, Ivan's sister, in my opinion doesn't help with that. Even thought is Barrett's and Ivan's story it wouldn't be complete without her and I'm glad it ended well for her. I highly recommend this book and can't wait for whatever this author comes up with next! I received a copy for a honest review

    What can I say, this is the second book by A.D. Ellis that I have read and loved,

    Ivan is 20 hrs old when he is sent to prison for actions in saving his sisters life.

    Barrett is Ivan's sister, Lexi, best friend. He is left to care for himself and Lexi while Ivan is away

    10 years go by and Ivan returns home to rebuild his life, find love, and build his family

    I loved this book. The realization of who you love and how to move on. A little surprise, which I never saw coming, and left to see how the three of them build this family unit.

    Again, I loved this book and look forward to more books from this author

    A good book by Ms Ellis, this has me glued from page one.
    This is a story of Ivan and Barrett as they fought thee ol age of time.
    As Ivan was being lead away to jail for killing, he took a desperate kiss from Barrett, begging him to care for his sister. Barrett was 4 years younger than Ivan's 20 at the time. Charged to care for Alexis with a secret location they would wait til Ivan's free even if it took years.
    After 10 years Ivan is coming home. Barrett being a musician and Lexi a writer they look forward to having him with them. Ivan now 30 has to adjust to life outside jail and his feelings for Barrett and to the kiss they'd shared.
    Their relationship blossoms but there's a slight snag along the way....see what happens.
    The drama scenes in this was a surprise as they didn't end as I'd thought they would..lol. (sorry I'll put my poker face on now hehe, if you've read this you'll know what I mean.)

    Let me start of by mentioning that I have read and listened to a fair amount of
    books by this author. However I have mixed feelings about this book. I enjoyed the general storyline of how Barrett & Ivan got together after a longtime. However I had a bit of a problem with the part about Barrett having to date some people and over involvement of Lexi in that part. And their where some other parts where I did not sit quite right for me.
    The reintegration of Ivan in society, after having been in jail for so long, read believable.
    I however liked the main story and it was good to see that Barrett & Ivan, in the end got their hea/ hfn.
    This book is an updated version of the book that was released I few years ago.

    An amazing story, just a couple of things that bugged me, this " Go on dates with other men and then come back to me", I found rather daft at first but it did end up making a few comical situations. Also some extended and repeadative conversations. All Minor things really when the whole thing was an amazing achievement, a wonderful read. Other than the beating up a young girl, the murder, the long prison term, it was a sweet tale as Ivan tries to readjust after life in jail.
