Before You Go (Another Love Book 3) Kindle Edition
Ryann Harris has everything she needs. A thriving tattoo studio and the woman she loves by her side. When lies and deceit unravel everything Ryann thought she knew, she makes a drastic decision and heads towards the river. She never imagined a world in which she would find herself standing on a ledge—ready and willing to jump—but that possibility is now staring her in the face.
And then she meets Lydia.
Lydia Nelson is struggling to choose between her sanity and her career. Working for a leading marketing company was always the dream, but her new boss was beginning to sour life for Lydia.
Both are at the river railing for different reasons. One is in need of a break, the other is desperately seeking an angel.
But one thing is for certain…Ryann and Lydia need one another.
Could a chance meeting and an instant connection change everything?

- Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2025This was a wonderfully written story about losing everything and finding what you didn’t know you wanted in the oddest of places. These characters were well developed and I was able to relate to them. I have enjoyed reading this story multiple times. If you are a lover of HEA, please pick up a copy and enjoy.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 15, 2020This is my first book from this author and she truly captivated me from the beginning. Her writing is so real and honest. It's such an emotional, yet heart-warming story. Ryann, a tattoo artist, is suffering the worst day of her life when Lydia, a business woman, happens upon her and truly impacts her life. You can truly feel everything these women are feeling. Both women have such good qualities and a special connection, but I felt their insecurities and esteem issues got a bit tiresome. That was the only negative for me. I'm looking forward to reading more from this very talented author!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2024I really enjoyed reading this story. I liked how this story included Sam and Luciana as well as what was happening in their lives. Also that Sam was always involved with the main characters, Ryann Harris and Lydia Nelson throughout this story. I felt like Sam was the saviour for Ryann and Lydia when they both needed it. Also thought the storyline of how Lydia met Ryann was different but interesting. I liked ending but wished Luciana birth was earlier in the story or the ending was more than six month so the readers would know what the baby looked like. Though it didn't change my opinion of this story. I would recommend this book to everyone that loves a good romance.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 7, 2022The book is living and it also shows sides of life people don’t talk about. The emotions that art goes through may seem like she is really insecure, but she is still going through emotions not deeply explained in the story. Ry hits rock bottom second guessing herself is normal. The writer slightly brings it up but then white washes details. But the story is fast passed at times and then there are moments you get details. It is a good read but do not expect to heavy on the background of either character. She brushes the strokes but the paint is light so to say.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 24, 2020Beautifully written novel about loss, giving up, finding and embracing hope and love. Wonderfully well developed characters and plot. I couldn’t put this down and read it in one day. A lovely way to enjoy the quarantine! I heartily and enthusiastically recommend this and any other works by this author. A great read. Thank you Peace
- Reviewed in the United States on May 26, 2020I loved the fact that the couple got together halfway in the book. Usually in most, the couples don't hook up until the very end, so this was refreshing to read. I wish the bedroom scenes could have been a little more, something was missing. I guess I was expecting hot and explosive when it finally happened, but it fell flat. For that I rated 4 stars. Overall, great book. This is the first book I've read bye this author, so I will definitely check out her other works.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 16, 2020Ryann had had just about enough of life. The only thing she had going for her was bad stuff. Lydia was not happy with her life but was resigned to the fact that she may never have much more. When she saw that Ryann needed help, she rushed right in because that is the kind of person she was. Who could possibly have foreseen what would transpire from that meeting. This story is really all about trust and openness and most importantly---love! It is such a good love story that kind of met with many obstacles along the way. Neither woman was too willing to let her feelings be known to the other but love kind of sneaks up on you sometimes. It was good to catch up with Sam and Luce and know they had a big part in this story. I really, really loved Sam and now Ryann. After all when you get right down to it, family is well worth fighting for. This is a "feel good" story and I highly recommend it. The author has written another fantastic book and I thank her immensely for sharing her words.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 13, 2020The women seem to have a connection, but insecurities cause them to avoid sharing multiple times and then avoid each other. The premise was different so I was hopeful there would be creative choices and dialogue. Sadly no. For example, Suicide ideation disappears with resentfully acceptance of monetary support.
There is depth to the characters, but I became frustrated. Before You Go becomes a rinse repeat stage of their relationship. Add to that a relative who has an abundance of money and steps in like a lesbian fairy godmother just giving away a luxury condo, a business, and a job, though that was somewhat earned. I think there is an earlier book with the rich lesbian Samantha, but I hadn’t read it so I felt this was magic beans. The writing was good, so it did flow, but tying things up in a bow showed a lack a creative maturity.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another brilliant piece
I love Melissa Tereze's work and this book is one of her finest. A tender and sensitive exploration of an escape from a dark, dark place...I couldn't put it down.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another Great Read!
I loved reading Before You Go, couldn’t put the book down and pretty much read it within one sitting. I’ve been a fan of Melissa Tereze since The Arrangement, her writing style always draws me into the characters storyline, the characters themselves are believable and easy to relate too.
Before You Go tells the story of Ryann and Lydia, who meet at the lowest point in Ryann’s life. Lydia practically saves Ryann’s life, and in doing so an unbelievable strong connection is formed. Melissa takes us on a journey of friendship, family, pain, heartache and most importantly love.
I highly recommended reading, especially if you loved The Arrangement as we get to catch up with Sam and Luciana too, what more could you ask for?
Really hoping they’ll be a sequel, would love to find out where Ryann and Lydia’s adventure leads.

Very enjoyable read. Was a little triggering and sad at the beginning, but the end overly compensated it. 5 stars.

4.0 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great third instalment to the series.
But will there be a fourth? The comment about Luce going back to the brigade makes me wonder.
More Sam is always welcome 😊
