    I was lucky enough to get to read an advanced copy of this book and thoroughly enjoyed it. This final book in the series was my favorite as it had elements of a typical love story with a nice mix of intrigue as the main characters face the consequences of a 20 year old secret. Madison Michael did a great job wrapping up the story lines of this group of friends and lovers. I felt like I could pick them out of a crowded bar in Chicago on my next trip to the Windy City. I can't wait to see what she writes next!

    Tyler fell for Reagan when she gave him a frog at 6 years old. They were in love for all their lives, but he made a stupid decision at 17. From a privileged background he thought it was a joke to steal a Ferrari. Little did he know but the bad crowd he hung out with were actual criminals. His brother 4 years older was a high achiever. His dad decided to have Tyler arrested as a lesson to him for almost bringing disgrace to the family name. Tyler was put in juvie, which was a nightmare to him. His bad pals blackmailed him for the next twenty years, threatening to harm those he loved if he didn't comply. Reagan waited indefinitely for him to ask her to marry him, eventually accepting an offer from a senator. Reagan gradually realised that the very eligible senator, Brandon was money-mad, using her to get campaign money. It was a looong wait, but worth it.

    Two people who were in love with one another since childhood, took twenty years to get together. Tyler and Regan were friends instead of lovers, Tyler was unable to commit due to a incident when he was a teenager. Regan was tired of waiting around for Tyler to commit. This is a very good read and I Highly reccomend it.

    Besotted by Madison Michaels is a good book with a complex plot and well developed characters that are deeply connected and in love with each other for nearly two decades! To say this couple is due a HEA is an understatement.
    Tyler is a tortured and vulnerable, succumbing to negative self talk and feeling unworthy. Regan is just confused by Tyler and trying to figure out what she wants for the rest of her life. In addition to all their personal drama, there’s suspense and a sense of danger going on as well.
    Overall, a good book that will keep you on your toes, but most importantly, Tyler and Regan finally get what they wanted all those years ago and it is one very happy ending indeed.

    There are good characters and good descriptions which are key to understanding their actions. Since there are no tattoos on anyone, we assume that the characters are "healthy and normal." Loved the passionate sex scenes and dialogue. I feel a lot was cut from the story by the editor.
