    I am really interested in Aiden Black and Ellie's story. They met in an unusual way, I would call meeting on a yacht and then having the owner of the yacht bidding on you and having won the bid spending the evening with him letting him do anything he wants to do to you sexually. It was a good thing that Mr. Aiden Black won the bid. It's a story with BDSM and it's an erotic story line. It may have triggers but I really enjoyed this story and since I love Charlotte Byrd stories which usually involves romance and eventually happily ever afters it just what it takes to get there.

    I read Black Edge by Charlotte Byrd, expecting a dark story, but so far it's more spicy than dark. Ellie attends a yacht party, meets the seductive and powerful Mr. Black, and experiences things she never has before. As their attraction grows, Ellie struggles with feeling good enough for him. I found some of Mr. Black's dialogue to sound a bit juvenile, but the story was good enough to keep me interested. I'll read the next book to see where it goes. 🤓

    Another great story from Charlotte Byrd. The chemistry between Mr.Black and Ellie was hot. Her girlfriend Caroline was invited to a party on a yacht out in the middle of the ocean not to far from the shore of New York City. They left on a helicopter and was invited to a cocktail party, all the people who were invited were the same age. They both graduated from Yale, both had jobs. Afterwards the women were asked if they would spend the night and be bid on by men for a night of sexual experiences. Ellie decided to do it and she met the owner of the yacht, which was Mr. Black. Later after the night was finished she was getting ready to return home, she was stopped and asked if she would be interested in going out or seeing Mr. Black again. With each turn of the pages this story became alive and a easy to read. This story wasn't what I really expected but I enjoyed reading it. Can't wait to read the next book in the series to find out what happens to that sexy M. Black. ENJOY!!!

    I really liked how this story started. It was an intriguing premise. However, this book is over 300 pages with extremely little in the way of character depth and development or story progress. I want to care more about Aiden and Ellie, but there's too many questionable aspects in the errors and lack of build.

    I've seen this book on 2 other platforms, each under a different title.

    All you have to do is read the synopsis of the next book in the series to know what the big story arc will be there. I'm just debating whether or not it's worth continuing.

    I absolutely love this book! Omg Adrian Black is such a contradiction. He is the billionaire that can have anything he wants but yet he is so broken inside. When he meets Ellie he is thrown off his axis. She is not money hungry, shares the same interests and is just down to earth. Therevis instant chemistry and one night quickly turns into more. I love Adrian's character because he is not as tough as he seems to be. There is a lot of heartache and in Ellie he finds somebody he can trust and open up to.

    This book ends in a cliffhanger so beware. It really makes you want to continue to find out how Ellie's and Adrian's story continues.

The only part that bothers me is that it’s a cliffhanger in a 5-book series, so it will be the longest cliffhanger ever for me. I wish I would’ve known ahead of time so I could’ve made an informed decision of whether to start reading or not. Now I can’t just not keep going. I already bought the rest of the series. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    When I first started this book I thought it was going to be just another typical sex mad romance novel but it is so much more.     There was some parts of the book that just felt very rushed and lacking detail. Would of liked to see the book be a little longer and have built character development. Maybe to have a more than a few chapters in Aiden's perspective rather than just 1. I know it's a fast read but sometimes it's a little too fast. Overall good read. Love the author.
