About the author

Ana Night is a writer of suspenseful gay romance. She’s an avid reader who has loved the written word since she discovered it. When she was a kid, she never went anywhere without a notepad. She was always writing, be it in the backseat of the car, between classes in school, or by the pool on vacations.
When she’s not writing, you can find her with her nose buried in a book, singing and dancing, or watching her favorite TV shows.
Ana lives in Denmark where she spends most of her time running from her ninja kitty—that one goes for the ankles—and getting lost in the woods with her horse.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 22, 2020I started reading these books but by book 3 I was struggling big time.
Book 1 was enjoyable, book 2 was leaving me struggling as the characters started getting into more unbelievable situations that just didn't do it for me.
....and book 3 I couldn't even finish. My eyes were rolling too hard. This is supposed to be contemporary law enforcement but came over as farcical.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 17, 2020The storyline in this series will definitely keep your interest as will the characters. Strong, mostly well defined, entertaining. I loved the banter and chemistry. I say mostly, because some of the supporting characters tend to be too similar in their mannerisms and behavior so aside from their names it's sometimes hard to tell them apart. Mysteries keep pilling up, one solved leads to another. Cole and Cade couldn't be more different but what started as insta lust/hate is developing in something much more. Secrets and traumas from the past tend to jeopardize their still fragile bond. What I've had the problem with was misuse and overuse of some words and gestures. For example there's a big difference between someone being smart or a smart-ass and I swear if someone winks in the next book I'm reading I'll scream. Also some things are explained too late in the book, almost as an afterthought, which interrupts the flow of the story. Tighter editing, especially in the first book would be nice. Despite these hangups I enjoyed this series.
