    This series has drawn me in since Prism and I can't get enough. Love love love The Color Alchemists uniqueness.
    Sasha is definitely my favourite in this series, so I was excited to see her on the cover! She's such kick-ass female and sassy! I do feel sorry for her though because she's in a difficult situation. Never have I ever been so torn in a love triangle so I can't even begin to imagine how hard it is on her. Mastin or Tristan? Don't make me choose!
    After the ending of Fracture, I wasn't entirely happy with Prince Lucas, and knew he had A LOT of making up to do before he got into my good books again. That sort of betrayal leaves a scar, even if he had good intentions. He tried so hard to make it up to Jessa and his efforts were heartwarming, but did she forgive him in the end? You'll have to read Blackout and find out!

    This series just keeps getting better!!!!! I read this one in about 12 hours and after that Book 2 cliffhanger I was NERVOUS about how things would move forward. The author does an AMAZING job of fleshing out complicated and REAL characters and has created a world and storyline that will totally keep you guessing. And who doesn't like female characters who 100% hold their own with their male counterparts. I'll be DYING until August for book 4.

    I really enjoyed this book! I read it out of order; this is the first of the series that I have read. This is such a unique and interesting departure from the traditional story of magic. People with the ability to manipulate the color around them to perform magic is a bold idea that definitely had me intrigued.
    As intriguing as this story was, I did find a couple faults with it. This, however, could very well be because I didn't read the the first two books beforehand. First, the characters were not quite as rounded as I would have liked. Second, there were some parts were the plot lost its flow. Despite this, there was plenty to keep me entertained!
    There was betrayal, plotting, danger, adventure, romance, and even a bit of a love triangle. And the ending is one heck of a cliff hanger! I can't wait for book four to find out what Walker has in store for Jessa, Lucas, and Sasha! In the meantime, I look forward to reading books one and two, Prism and Fracture.

    I normally go for suspense/thrillers when I am picking a book but The Color Alchemist books have me hooked. I am a huge fan and have been waiting for Blackout to come out. Of course I purchased on the release date and it did not disappoint (except the book coming to an end). I didn’t even realize how fast I went through this book, it was that good. August cannot come soon enough with that cliffhanger at the end. Nina is an amazing author with such talent. I couldn’t recommend these books enough and hope one day to see them in the movies!

    Seriously, this series has just gotten better and better! I’m normally wary of sequels never living up to the first book, but book 3 has been my favorite so far and I couldn’t put it down!! I’m dying to find out what happens next! I LOVE the characters and this beautiful world of color that the author has created!!

    I was a little disappointed that this was not a conclusion of a trilogy. Before I read it, I thought there was no where she could go with the saga that warranted at least one other book in the series.

    Then I read Blackout.

    I couldn't put down. When I got to the end I said, "What?!"

    I have know what happens next.

    I'm buying the next book.

    The book gets more intense and I kept turning the page to see what is going to happen next.

    There is romance, action, suspense, intrigue and of course magic!

    I didn't like Sasha in the other books as much as I did in this one. I felt that she was always angry and doesn't always think before she does things but in this story, I believe she matured and lets go of her anger. Jessa who I liked in the previous books I felt like slapping in this one. She let her emotions rule her. She really annoyed me at times but she seemed to have changed towards the end which ends on a cliffhanger.

    I can't wait for the fourth book!!!!

    There is no profanity or sexual content but there is some violence.

    Though this one took me a tiny bit longer to get into, once I got going, I couldn’t put it down! Once again Walker delivered a great book as part of her Prism series! What I love about these books is it’s not like book one was amazing and then they fizzle. I feel like each book gets better and better with more dimensions and twists you don’t expect. I seriously can’t wait for book four!
