Holy Cow! I Bet You Didn't Know This: I Once Was Blind But Now I See

Warning: This book is not for the faint of heart. It's written in second person point of view and may be contrary to your thoughts and beliefs.

"We are all wanderers on this earth. Our hearts are full of wonder, and our souls are deep with dreams." --Gypsy Proverb

"Aint no fairy tales in these pages.-- From the judge of the cover, this book appears to be about witches, vampires, and mystical creatures. This book is not a work of fiction, although to some, it could be scary because the truth in one way, or another can be frightening. It is about things beyond the flesh--metaphysical--things that you can not see or detect with your 5 physical senses. Revelations occur everyday, and most people pay little attention and even chalk them up as coincidences.

I found God
On the corner of First and Amistad
Where the west
Was all but won
All alone
Smoking his last cigarette
I said, "Where you been?"
He said, "Ask anything."

Where were you
When everything was falling apart?
All my days
Were spent by the telephone
That never rang
And all I needed was a call
That never came. ~The Fray

I wrote this book so the truth about the mystery of God could be known. Who am I? Why Am I here? Where did I come from? Why was I born unto my parents--why not a different set of parents and circumstances? Why was I born in this country--why not in another place and time? Where do I go when I die? Does God really exists? What is God's name? Is God a man or woman?

In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king. It's impossible to see the Truth if you depend on what he sees. Man has slept too long, and it's time to wake up.

We've been looking for the "Truth" in all the wrong places--church, minister, bible, and above sun, moon and stars. And in reality, if you're ever going to find it--you're going to have to find "It" in you.

I had a personal experience that led to a spiritual awakening that you wouldn't believe, unless it happened to you.

"I've been looking in the darkness, walking in the shadows searching for the "Truth" and you've been hiding. I want to know the "Truth" that only can come from you. I will write about it so the words can fall like raindrops on those you have chosen."

There are some books, whose story cause you introspective reflection, which lasts longer than it takes to read the book. M LeMont shares a deeply personal and heart breaking event in his life, which impacted his thoughts about his meaning in life.

Written in a comedy tone, with incredible timing; he has you laughing, crying, and causing you to go into deep reflective thought.

Author uses a psynonym, allowing you to focus on the message, rather than the person.

A short thirty-minute read, this is a book which will impact your thoughts.

As a ex Catholic and Pagan I believe in the Gods and Goddesses, a higher power. What Mr LeMont touches on are things I have learned as well. Although I had a different awakening after my near death a lot of water he writes is enlightening. I look forward to the next.

What an interesting perspective on the world around us. M. Lemont mixes science, religion and mathematics to come to a very dynamic view of why humans exist.

For a fascinating short read when you are having an existential moment take an hour and read this book.

If you read this book and continue to read it most likely there is a reason YOU are reading it. This will either confirm your own thoughts or make you ponder. For me it was confirmation of many questionable events in my life. I enjoyed this read.

Very entertaining and kept my attention the whole time. Original and down to earth. Super easy to follow because it is detailed and to the point. Writers style was conversational and informed the audience of a revelation and it didn't happen as coincidence. The material posed a lot of questions in mind about what I have been taught and how I interpret the Bible, symbols and numbers all around me. After reading it I was prompted to research more on angels and personal relationships.

In a nutshell, the central idea of the book is that you don't really have much control over your life, so stop regretting your past mistakes and don't worry about the future...because you can't control much of what happens to you anyway.

The one thing that you will walk away with after reading this book is the idea that there aren't any coincidences in life. Which may allow you the freedom to forgive yourself for all the bad decisions you've made over the years. And allow you to stop stressing over the details in life.

Because then, you'll be able to simply relax and enjoy a heightened awareness of the events around you that you would never have noticed before had you been spazzing and stressing the day to day details that clog up your thinking processes.

In any case, definitely a provocative read that will force you to rethink and analyze some of the things you thought were true or never really took the time to consider.

I can't say I totally agree with some of the ideas, but it still gave me some interesting food for thought as I consider the possibilities for the coincidences in my life.

It also seemed to end rather abruptly. I felt like after finally bringing the stories and points together...that I needed a little more just to explore the possibilities of where this could lead if you one were to buy into this form of thinking/philosophy of life.

But maybe that's not a coincidence, and I should just accept it for what it is. ;)

This book is a book that explains things in a way that changed my thinking that is why I read. I am now going back to the bible and study it as a child of God. Nice work. Easy lessons.

4.0 out of 5 stars Captivating!

I came across this book title while browsing on my twitter account. It caught my attention because of one word - the truth. Let's be honest. Who doesn't want to know the truth - however one defines it? We all want to know where we came from, why we are here and does God really exist? Then he mentioned a quote from The Matrix, one of my favourite moves and I knew I just had to get this book.

I love the way the author has addressed age-old questions by weaving a story of personal experiences which most readers can relate to. The dialogue is clever and quite humorous - not necessarily in a "Ha, ha very funny" kind of way, but the embarrassing chuckle which says, "I know what you're talking about. I've been there...

I would have given this book 5 stars but only gave it 4 stars because I really think the author could have given us more. But then again, maybe that is why there is more than one volume? Very cleverly marketed too. I will certainly be reading more works from this author.
