Cambria Hebert is a bestselling novelist of more than fifty titles. She went to college for a bachelor’s degree, couldn’t pick a major, and ended up with a degree in cosmetology. So rest assured her characters will always have good hair.

Besides writing, Cambria loves a pumpkin spice latte, staying up late, sleeping in, and watching K drama until her eyes won’t stay open. She considers math human torture and has an irrational fear of chickens (yes, chickens). You can often find her running on the treadmill (she’d rather be eating a donut), painting her toenails (because she bites her fingernails), or walking her chihuahuas (the real bosses of the house).

    Arrow is faced with a big life decision, he is offered a chance to race in the NRR with his brother, or head to the pros, and sign with NASCAR and step out of the shadow of his big brother, and be on his own. Either choice changes things, either choice brings him out of his comfort zone, out of the safety of the airplane hanger he has called home the last few years. Scars and pain run deep, his past still haunts him, and Arrow worries that he will never be able to heal and escape the memories that still creep in. Hiding and never getting close, never trusting, has left him shy, and lonely. Despite being surrounded by Jase, Joey, Drew and Trent, he's alone. When the sexy curly haired, Hopper, walks into his life, Arrow discovers feelings and thoughts and wants he never thought he would have. He feels a connection to this man that he's only watched from afar. But now that he's in front of him, where he can really see him, he recognizes a man broken and lost just as much as himself. Arrow will have to decided if he is brave enough to show Hopper the real him and take a chance to trust this man with his heart.

    Hopper is a shell of a man. One who on the outside may have picked himself up, after suffering a tragic loss, but inside is broken, shattered and guilt ridden. For five long years he has kept to himself, letting only Joey see parts of the man he once was, but otherwise living a lonely life. With the responsibility of getting Arrow to sign a contract with Ron Gamble, Hopper finds himself thrown for a loop when he finally comes face to face with the young, shy and extremely attractive future star driver. He sees something in Arrow, that he himself knows all to well. Loss and pain. Arrow has surrounded himself with walls, not just his home, but himself too. To get through them, Hopper will have to treed lightly and prove to Arrow that there is good and kindness and love out there. But it's not easy for Hopper to move on, to experience love and happiness, without thinking of what once was and that he is betraying a promise he made himself long ago.

    Arrow really surprised me in this story. I knew I was going to love him, but he was so much more. He is a fantastic, heartbreaking, strong, character. All he endured, all the pain, the betrayal, but to see all his strength, and the way he reached for what he wanted, how he came out of his shell and stood on his own and faced his fear, his past, and fought for more. For happiness and love and to live his life. It was hard to read at times, made me cry, but made me smile and really love this shy, passionate, loving, beautiful character.

    Hopper, man was Hopper just as amazing to read about. Broken, lost, and wandering alone. He also really surprised me. Vulnerable, sweet, and caring. Yet powerful and protective. I could not get enough of him. I loved this character and his big heart, and his ability to stay and fight when at times all he wanted was to run.

    The way Cambria captivates her readers with her story telling. Her beautiful words, the emotional dialogue, the happiness, the pain, the love and family, show what a truly talented writer she is. I've been following Cambria Hebert a long while now, and she is a author who's work I will truly read without a second thought. Because I know that I will be left with wonderful words to pour over and amazing characters to love.

    #Blur is a steal your breath, heart aching, make you weak in the knees, raw, love story, with so much heart and soul.

    I have enjoyed this series very much, and this book is no exception. It's a well written, a bit heartbreaking, a bit heartwarming story. My issue is the editing, I am used to the... sub par editing in most of her stories and I was prepared going in. But with this book I am not sure it can be said that it was edited at all. I'm not talking about spelling, of which there were several but the story line, mixing up character names, contractions and more make it frustrating to read because you keep getting pulled out of the story. A good edit and it would be a five star book.

    Cambria Hebert literally blows me away with her words and storylines. I am a huge fans of her GearShark Series which is actually a playoff of her #Nerd Series. Why there isn't a TV show or some type of on screen version of these books blows my mind considering what there actually is out there. She does not get nearly the credit she deserves - she is brilliant at what she does. This book is no different, it's raw, it's a build up of this character that she introduced and made me fall in love with 3 books ago. She wrote Arrow a beautiful story and one that touched deeply into the soul. #Blur!

    She has taken on so many deep elements/issues which I personally would think of as huge challenges for any writer and turn it into addicting literature. No, you can not put this book down once you start. And because I know so many of her different characters, it truly stuns me that she can portray each one and give them their own personality completely and maintain it flawlessly in any book they are revisited in. She never has given any similarities to any of them - Arrow and Hopper are proof to even new identities. Two characters I was completely blown away by. I have to say that this is so difficult to write because the story itself was one, if not her deepest one of both series's and that also says a lot considering every book has "off the charts, page turning" plots - some even more mind blowing than others. WOW!

    Out of all her characters - Arrow is in a whole separate category in itself. He just captured something inside me with his pure beautiful heart and soul, his endless pain, his constant unselfish demeanor and the naive, sheltered life he chooses to live for reasons that are more than understandable. When Hebert writes Arrow's character, it's as if you can see the expressions on his face, feel what he's feeling and wish you could be the one to be there for him and it's just a huge credit to the author that says she did her job for us, as readers.

    If I never randomly picked up #Nerd 2 years ago, I would be missing out on so so much. I'm so grateful to know that I'm not.

    I've read all the hashtag and gearshark books, but this one is just wow. The beginning is heart-wrenching, but when you see how the characters develop, how they become what they want to be, how they face life. It's an emotional book (you may shed a tear or two), it's so lovely. If you've read anything from this author you must read this one, and if you haven't, well, read it anyway.

    This story should come with trigger warnings...on page rape, hate crime beating, sexual abuse.

    This was a very emotional read - especially the first 30% of the story.
    It was wonderful to see the journey of two men who were both so broken and battered, find each other and fight for their love.

    Cambria is one of the most amazing author's with an amazing talent. You find yourself engrossed in her work from beginning to end.
    I have read all of Cambria s work and I fell in love with the hashtag series and gearshark was know different.
    This is the story of Arrow and Hopper and the journey to HEA. We first meet Arrow early on in the series and I always wondered what his story was and now we have the chance to find out about him.
    This is amazing story that i honestly couldn't put down and I found myself engrossed within the story and let me just say it sets your emotions going.
    If you have never read one of Cambria's books then you are missing out.

    whoa! Where to start.....
    This book had everything we have come to expect from the #hashtag and Gearshark series.
    this one went up another notch, it was by far the most emotional and possibly confrontational book in the series to date.
    i laughed, cried, wanted to throw my kindle in anger towards Arrow's so called father and swooned with the intense love between Arrow and Hopper.
    Arrow was adorable and i just wanna cuddle him up and protect him from the world. Hopper surprised me, I'm glad he fought his past to see how perfect he was for Arrow. To show Arrow that he was enough and that his love was without conditions.
    This was a beautiful love story, these two amazing but broken souls could find a love so fierce that could break through their own baggage was perfect.
    Once again Cambria has knocked it out of the park.
