Although born in Salford I was raised in the Manchester area, and still, consider myself a Lancashire lass.

An ex children's nurse and former Health Visitor I am a Jack of all trades. With a degree and two Master's qualifications to my name.

I have always loved to read and write although I only began to write seriously about five years ago. My first blog post was published in February 2013 and since then I have gone from strength to strength. This has resulted in my being voted as Blogger of the Year 2014 on the site Skelat

My debut book Bound for Passion was published in late December 2013.

The second, a novella "A Valentine's Bind" came 1st in the erotica category, and 5th overall in the 2016 50 Self-published Books Worth Reading on Readfree.ly.com.

All of my books were nominees in the Summer Indie Reads 2016 by Metamorph Publishing

    I have never read true erotica before. I thought, because I had read some Jacqueline Susanne years ago and of course Lady Chatterley's Lover, that I was well enough acquainted with true erotica. I was mistaken.

    In the first instance the book delves right into the sexuality of a woman meeting a man for the first time, with some BDSM undertones, then overtones. In the final section of the book the true world of a dominant and submissive is explored. I am a straight man so I found these things
    somewhat different to say the least. The characters might have been slightly underdeveloped as was the plot. But those criticisms do not change the fact that I loved the book in the final analysis.

    As I said in the start of this review this is a work of true erotica and BDSM at that. I enjoyed learning something of that world but more I enjoyed the descriptions of sexual behaviors by a woman. Seldom do such detailed and complete descriptions of a woman's feelings during sex come clear to a reader I suspect. That part of the book was very enjoyable.

    All in all I loved it, enjoyed that which I learned, would read another by this author for sure.

    I have not read a lot of Erotica but enough to say that this Novella was enough to turn the heat up.
    The first short story was a full-on excitement as a young women anticipates meeting her cyber lover in the flesh to live out her fantasy. Just the prelude to the meeting was a poetic foreplay of words. Let me tell you, I felt the heated anticipation with her every step of the way, as the author does not skimp on the juicy details. All three of the stories were well written and had good character descriptions. If you are looking to spice up your love life, then this book is a must for you!

    This is the first book I have read by the author. The first stories were sinfully sexy and decadent. However the last story in my opinion had to be the best story in the book. The description of the dom/sub relationship was intense,and highly erotic. If you were ever curious this is the book to read. The dominant was caring and commanding and, the submissive was obliging,obedient and beautiful in her submission. It's a very sexy read.

    But not enough to be worth purchasing. Very poor editing. Serious style issues that make it seem sometimes like you are being given a lecture on BDSM, for example. Not enough character details for you to be interested in what happens to them. Sex scenes are pretty tame and not very creative.

    I have never really read a book like this before! It is very graphic and not my typical read. I love romance novels and this is out of my usual comfort zone! I have only seen the movie Fifty Shades of Grey so I only had that to compare to. I found it amusing that this was references in the book of that! The stories are fast paced and an easy read. Scarlett Flame is a talented writer and provides plenty of information about BDSM for those who aren't knowledgeable about this area.
