The love shared between Gemma and Evan is so powerful that not even death can stop it. Simon and Gwen have sworn to stay by Gemma's side to protect her and the baby from further attacks by subterranean forces but they can't protect Gemma from her own grief. Gemma is losing herself to her emotions and her loss of Evan, she keeps having nightmares of Evan locked in torment, tortured by a woman who keeps trying to lure Gemma to them. She soon discovers that Evan is truly being tortured in Hell, that she herself is a Witch, but more importantly that Evan is alive, and that gives her a renewed sense of hope and determination. She will stop at nothing to save Evan. Even if that means going directly to Hell and giving herself to the Witches and setting Evan free. Gwen warns her that giving herself over to the Evil of the witches will make her lose her humanity, but Gemma is sure that her love for Evan will help her keep her hold on herself. After all, love is the most powerful force in existence and it is what allowed Gwen to regain her humanity! So she sets out, and has some unlikely allies along the way. This was an incredible book and I cannot wait for the 4th book, EXPIATION coming in 2017!!

    Brokenhearted is an emotional, riveting, heart wrenching journey. I felt all of Gemma's traumatic pain over losing Evan and for all of the things that were happening to her. Between the female Angel of Death and the witches, she suffered even more pain, confusion and fear. This book is beautifully written with many surprises and answers to questions I had wondered about from the previous books and novella's. My heart was pounding during several chapters, sometimes over worry and fear for Gemma and sometimes for the possibilities that were coming to her through dreams/nightmares. I definitely advise you grab a box of tissue when you begin reading, especially the first half of the book. I read the book in less than a day, I couldn't stop, I felt like I was right beside Gemma during the entire book. Elisa S. Amore has completely enchanted my world with this dark fairy tale. The love that is in Gemma's heart is overwhelming and admirable. I won't give out any details because I hope everyone gets to read it unknowing what awaits them with each page. I recommend this captivating book and the entire series to everyone.

    The third installment was worth waiting for, gripping and faster paced than the other two with more action scenes. I must admit I was a bit worried going into this one as I was wondering how the story would evolve without Evan but there was enough going on to keep me turning the pages. Gemma has matured and even though she is still a fragile mortal she had moments of fierceness and courage that pushed her to keep going. I could identify with her hopelessness and despair over losing Evan yet the strength of the bond between her and Ginerva strengthened her resolve to not give up. I did guess a few of her secrets but there were still a few surprises that I did not see coming. I would have liked to have read more about her friendship with Peter as it seemed like every time Evan came on the scene she automatically abandons him. There is no closure to their relationship but it may happen in the next book, we will have to wait and see.

    Omg what a read, wow. We pick up exactly where we left off in Unfaithful. Gemma is grieving and can't get past Evans death. Her guilt, her pain it's excruciating. To add to that she having constant nightmares, and being attacked in the day time by some unknown forces which are sending her to madness. Ginerva and Simon try their best to protect her and help her through her pain but it seems that things are escalating to the extreme. How will she get through?
    I spent the first few chapters with tears in my eyes, it was so emotional, painful, you felt her heartbreak. It's so well written, amazing plot, lots of amazing twists, turns and things that are not expected. I can't wait to see what happens next, especially as a paranormal love story, will we see a HEA, or will the forces aligning against Gemma win? Highly recommend.
