- Reviewed in the United States on June 25, 2018Really enjoyed this story. The main character loves books as much as I do. The author comes up with an amazing twist that I had never read before.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 19, 2018I liked this book, I only wish that it were longer. I didn't really relate to the characters as much as I could have because I didn't feel that I knew them well enough. I didn't understand why Beau was going to let some sense of misguided loyalty keep him from the love of his life.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 19, 2018This was a good story. I would compare it to the movie The Neverending Story. Tara finds an odd book while browsing her local bookstore that is a little too familiar. Especially when Beau walks into the store and into Tara's life.
I did enjoy this story. My only criticism is that I wanted more to the story. I wanted more backstory on the two characters and a little more to the current story. I simply wanted more to it.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 29, 2018"Part if her felt as if she was committing adultery against piles and piles of unread books back at her little apartment..."
And thus begins this quick, sweet read about a book lover who believes "One can never have enough books".
This was a delightful read that I would recommend to my elderly mother's book club and friends alike.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2018This is a quick paced, hot blooded novella that draws the reader in and holds you captive until you've finished the story, realizing you've been biting your nails. Their love is meant to be. If only he could SEE that!! You'd think help from a magical book would be enough to guide them into being.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2018Sheritta Bitikofer has stolen a piece of my heart with By The Book. It is a heart warming story that brought feeling and kept the pages turning. It has passionate romance and compassionate wisdom to love, life, and family.
