- Reviewed in the United States on July 8, 2021April put a wonderful spook spin on this book. I loved it and it kept me a little scared but the end was perfect. I love April's writing and I am looking forward to her next book of the Dark Root series. It has been a great magical journey thus far and I hope there is more to come.
