About the author

Sundari Venkatraman is an Indie Author who has 68 books to her credit. These books have consistently featured in the Top 100 Bestseller Lists on Amazon India, Amazon USA, Amazon UK, Amazon Canada and Amazon Australia in both romance as well as Asian Drama categories. Her latest hot romances have all been on #1 Bestseller slot in Amazon India for over a month.
These days, the author is independently publishing her novels in paperback format under her banner Flaming Sun, printed and distributed by Notion Press.
Even as a child, Sundari absolutely loved the ‘lived happily ever after’ syndrome and she grew up on a steady diet of fairy tales, Phantom comics and Mandrake comics. It was always about good triumphing over evil and a happy ending after the protagonists surmounted all unexpected obstacles.
Once she entered her teens, Sundari switched her loyalties from fairy tales to Mills & Boon. While she loved reading both of these, she kept visualising what would have happened if there were similar situations happening in India; to local heroes and heroines. And of course, the joy of vanquishing the ubiquitous evil villains! Her imagination soared and she happily ensconced herself in a rosy romantic cocoon for many years.
Then came the writing—a true bolt from the blue! And Sundari Venkatraman has never looked back.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 14, 2022I just loved reading this book by Sundari Venkatraman. Call of Heart is the story of Tarun and Myra. I loved how they met and how a broken soul and a vibrant personality came together. The first thing I liked about this story was how the author painted all the scenes of a cruise with her words. As with all Sundari Venkatraman's books, this book, too, is inundated with romance and hot scenes. But behind all these layers, it's a beautiful story of how a man overcomes his past to find true love.
The author has taken great care in placing the tiny details of a cruise ship, from the standard deck to the high society in a ship. I felt I was traveling along with the characters in this beautiful journey.
Another thing I loved about this book was the bonding of family that comes so beautifully in this book and the previous one. Modern parents with the openness to teaching their kids what is right and how family love can solve all your problems. I won't be giving away a secret, so I will take this opportunity to say that I loved the proposal - I wish I could say more, but I hope there will be some real-life people like Tarun to make the world a better place. To many more, Ms. Venkatraman.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 18, 2022Sundari Venkatraman set herself a challenge and she delivered it with aplomb. I found this book quite unputdownable because besides the story being so beautiful the Arora Iyer family really had a quality that it is very difficult to find in this day and age. Sundari proved once more that she is a best selling author through and through

5.0 out of 5 stars Unique
A cruise love story. Myra has had an interesting life and a rock-solid family to fall back on. Her family has had their share of changing dynamics with her mother remarrying and her step sister becoming her sister-in-law. They all love and stand by each other unconditionally now. Myra is rational, independent and strong. Also, she knows what she wants.
Tarun has seen hardships, complexities of life and has dealt with even greedy parents. With the help of Tasha and Rohit he has rebuilt himself but the scars of past makes him commitment phobic. Parents and their relationship play a big role in upbringing of the children.
The book is a good example of that. Very interesting and breaking the social norms ideas are being talked about. Its totally worth reading. I love the thought process and idea that went behind the book. The author has blended stories of Myra and Tarun and their families beautifully.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting
An interesting story. Always liked Simha International as it was Rohit and Tasha's story and wanted to know more about Tarun as well, as he was Tasha's brother. Even though it was a little heart breaking in the beginning, it was a HEA for Tarun and was glad his parents were not around. Sundari Venkatraman has a knack for bringing together characters from different stories of hers and I think Tarun couldn't get a better match for him than Myra Arora Iyer and the bonus was he got a family which he could never dream of. Would recommend the book for those who love to read such unconventional stories challenging the norms of the society. Happy Reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet treat❤️
This is the writer's 60th book and definitely one of her best'... Congratulations
I have read all the three Arora Iyer individual stories. Be it Karan and Deepshikha, Kruthika and Darsh and now Myra and Tarun and let me be frank , I want more of them
The best part about her books is that the characters are connected creatively. Here we see the Bansal Legacy series and Once bitten twice lucky series connection.
Tarun : He is introduced in the Bandal legacy series. Tarun is a character with a deep dark past who became a victim of family issues. He's commitment phobic.
Myra : The 26 year old bold confident girl also has a strange past. She comes from a broken family but rebuilt her life situation with her loving mother, brother and stepfather. She's all Abt connection and chemistry.
A commitment phobic and the other who's all about commitment comes together in this beautiful story. Let's just say the heart wants what it wants.
✓ Excellent character development. Be it the vulnerable yet all giving selfless Myra or the scarred yet gentlemanly mature Tarun
✓ The side characters are good as well. We get a glimpse of Krutika, Darsh and Deep , Karan
✓ I so want more of their story. I don't know if parents like Karan and Deepshikha exist but I really wish that they do. Such amazing personalities.
✓ The Arora Iyer family is unconventional and that's the charm of it.
Dear readers don't miss out on this book. It's an absolute treat by the writer.
Highlights:
1.We get to see two lovely characters from the Bansal Legacy.
2.Towards the climax there are two conditions that Tarun places to Karan and Deepshika ... What are those ? What is their response to it...?
A glimpse:
"Tarun had turned every kind of societal norm on its head, choosing to take his future wife’s ......."
Read to find out...

5.0 out of 5 stars A very sweet story.
As usual... The best writing. This story revolves around the best book parents karan and deepsika and best book couple rohit and tasha.
Its often said that the childs growth depends on the enviorrment he/she raised in but timely guidance can surely bring the child to the right path. This was exactly what happened to tarun sawant.if we remember tarun from simha international, that was when the transformation has started and reading his story was such a happieness sundari mam has presented . I am sure many of you have forgotten parents character in Sinha International . Bringing the Forgotten character into light and writing a story for him is hats off to Sundari mam . Now I can say Sundari mam has writing skills imagination skills and match making skills . Love on wheels Lov in air and this is love on water . Beautiful pen story I enjoyed reading every bit of the book messages all of you to read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Enticing ❤️❤️
Story of Myra and Tarun with their family entanglement is truly enticing! Arora Iyer family is as always amazing. But Sawant/Bansal family with their bond and understanding is amazing. It’s very interesting to read how the entitled teenager of Sawant grew up with good influence from his sister and brother-in-law (we did read about him interning during 12th break in Simha international).
Their story together and acceptance of each other with family is so heart touching.
