Sleigh-builder Cooper Bryson finds Rory freezing her tush off outside the Christmas Valley Inn, waiting for the Kringles to return so she can cancel her wedding event. He’s sorry about what happened, but he’s been in love with Rory since the first moment he laid eyes on her. “I’ll marry you,” he says.

Fresh off the jilted train, Rory is resistant to the proposal, and besides, she hardly knows Coop. He’s not deterred and offers an alternative: He’ll court her for two weeks, and if she can’t stand him by then, he’ll take a hike. If she can, they’ll get married.

Despite Rory’s best intentions, her heart rate does a little reindeer gallop every time she’s near Coop. She’s not sure what that reaction is all about, but would it be so bad to agree to his plan to “court” her for two weeks before she decides what her decision is going to be? After all, he did seal the deal with the best kiss she’s ever had.

Ann Simas lives in Oregon, but she is a Colorado girl at heart, having grown up in the Rocky Mountains. She has been an avid reader since childhood and penned her first fiction "book" in high school. She particularly likes to write mystery/suspense/thriller with a love story and paranormal or supernatural elements. She is a three-time RWA Golden Heart Finalist. Simas currently has 42 books in print. All are available in both paperback and in ebook format.

An award-winning watercolorist and a budding photographer, Ann also enjoys needlework and gardening in her spare time. She is her family's "genealogist" and has been blessed with the opportunity to conduct first-hand research in Italy for both her writing and her family tree. The genealogy research from decade's old documents in Italian, she says, has been a supreme but gratifying challenge.

    Rory Campbell is a self-made millionaire with a knack for making money in the stock market. She was engaged until she found Stan in bed with her best friend. Instead of being angry she’s relived since she never really had any feelings toward him.
    Cooper Dawson is a master woodcrafter and furniture maker along with sleighs. He owns Dawson Woods. He sees Rory waiting for the Kringle’s on the steps of Christmas Valley Inn and finds out what is wrong. He suggests that they get married after a 2-week trial to make sure she wants to be with him. She accepts the challenge.
    This is another great Christmas read from Ann Simas and I totally enjoyed the story. I read it in one sitting. It was great to be reunited with the folks of Christmas Valley and find out what they have been up to. I highly recommended this book. It will put you in the Christmas spirit.

    Another great story from Ann Simas. Christmas Valley is almost a magical place. Many interesting individuals live in Christmas Valley. We are introduced to some new characters, but also encounter some from previous Christmas Valley books. These are all stand-a-lone stories, but it is nice to have the cohesiveness of a close community. In this book, follow Rory and Coop's love story. There is always humor and a good read in an Ann Simas story.

    Rory has been heart broken by her so called husband to be n her so called best friend. Cooper has admired her from a distance. He is in love with her. He n Rory is undeniably strong connection n is hot. Her brother was adopted n there is more to the story but it's unknown to people. It was a great amazing read

    Rory and Coop enter into a whirlwind courtship after Rory cancels her wedding. Coop is determined to convince Rory to marry him in less than to weeks. This story is a sweet ride into a wintery fairyland. Rory learns that men aren't all like Stan and that Coop is honorable and true. Even though the storylines connect you don't have to read the previous books to enjoy this book. Can Rory step away from her logical mind and follow her heart?

    Omg, Rorary is the best character and coop totally loved them both.
    Poor Rorary finding her fiance and best friend together but honestly that saved her from Lifetime of waste marrying Stan.
    Then the way Coop courted her made my heart melt.
    The story was great, characters were so perfect!
