About the author

Ann Simas lives in Oregon, but she is a Colorado girl at heart, having grown up in the Rocky Mountains. She has been an avid reader since childhood and penned her first fiction "book" in high school. She particularly likes to write mystery/suspense/thriller with a love story and paranormal or supernatural elements. She is a three-time RWA Golden Heart Finalist. Simas currently has 42 books in print. All are available in both paperback and in ebook format.
An award-winning watercolorist and a budding photographer, Ann also enjoys needlework and gardening in her spare time. She is her family's "genealogist" and has been blessed with the opportunity to conduct first-hand research in Italy for both her writing and her family tree. The genealogy research from decade's old documents in Italian, she says, has been a supreme but gratifying challenge.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 13, 2020Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThe ninth book in the A Christmas Valley Romance series a well written story with a very good storyline, the story flowed smoothly across the pages. Tally Barrow wakes up after eleven months in a comma and does not remember Sam Reed, and she is really snarky with him when she sees him. At the start I was not to happy with her. I enjoyed reading this story, and seeing their love happen.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2020Format: KindleVerified PurchaseWaking up from a coma and seeing a guy that says he's in love with you is not what Tilly expected much less have a magical Christmas clock.
Well written, fun and cute with all the Christmas spirit.
I'm voluntarily reviewing this after receiving a free copy.

I was glad to see Tally finally come out of her coma and get her happy ever after.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 1, 2020Format: KindleFirst off read in order because the events prior events will make sense in this book then. Is a sweet romance novel with some Christmas mischief in it. Gotta love how Ann Simas thinks these things up. I honestly adore her books.
Tally has just woken up for an almost year coma due to a car accident. But when she finally realizes what is going on. She has every right to freak out. Especially about the cute guy that's been pinning for her by her side since the day it happened. If only she can remember who he is to her and why... And who sent her this weird clock and why is it bugging her...
- Reviewed in the United States on May 11, 2020Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis is a great read. Coming out of a coma has to be disorienting but for Tally everything is different. Doesn't take long to realize things are down right weird. No spoilers here but well worth the read. Recommend.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 23, 2019Format: KindleShe is in a car accident n in a coma for eleven months. She doesn't remember anything or about him. She n him had just started dating. He is torn to pieces. The town helped her family out during the time she was in a coma. It was so good n amazing. The clock that she received is annoying n magical. It game clues to them n everything
- Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2019Format: KindleI’ve enjoyed each of Ann Simas’ books but honestly, Jingle Bell Clock felt a bit off. I can’t quite put my finger on it but parts of the story felt off. Tally ran hot and cold, Sam and Tally’s conversations seemed immature at times and the sexual innuendos were not needed (in my opinion). A lot of their “feelings” seemed sexually based even though they kept stating that it was more than sex. Some of the interactions between Tally and Sam (especially after she woke from the coma) felt awkward.
I truly wish I could pinpoint why this book left me with a sour taste. The writing is good and the story ends with a happily-ever-after but I didn’t feel any warm feelings.
