    There are lots of cute-meets, but this one was super original and I couldn’t help but chuckle at the way it all went down. This is insta-attraction in a situation that most would probably not consider appropriate, but I thought it was perfect.

    This couple absolutely sizzled across the pages as they not only get to know one another, but have to maneuver through the minefield of their pasts. While there is always the shadow of Emma’s past threatening them both individually and as a couple, this had a lot of couple moments. Fun and laughter is a large part of their relationship with a healthy dose of desire to prove the chemistry between them.

    I love when a hero doesn’t realize how alpha he is until he meets the right woman. Such is the case with Lucas. He never knew he had a caveman mentality until Emma turns his life upside down. Watching him fall for her was fun as well as sizzling.

    ”Sweet heaven, I hungered for her. I couldn’t remember ever feeling such raw sexual need. But not only that, I also wanted to pound my chest, swing my club, and keep every other male on the face of the earth from so much as breathing on her.”

    The mystery at the center of the Arcadia is discussed but never really delved into but I loved the potential it held for future books. Relatively low angst, this has a lightning fast pace that moves us forward despite the lack of drama. However, when trouble arises, the angst gets down and dirty and man oh man but my heart hurt for both of these characters.

    I enjoyed the heck out of this book and wish I had pulled out back when I first purchased it. Lesson learned – all Josie Litton books should be read ASAP!

    This fabulous titillating saga again surrounds the Arcadia Apartment Series from another of Josie Litton Books called Possess, which you should read in companion with this one. Emma and Lucas love affair is sexy and provocative, with elements of drama, mystery, intrigue, deception and it was like watching a movie on the screen. This book was a fun, erotic story of one woman's journey finding happiness, trust and love. This book has steam coming off the pages and the chemistry between the two heroines was incredible. It was a page turner in the truest sense. I simply could not get enough and I like the way the story envelopes you from the start, not unlike how some authors wait half way until a book is almost half way finish to finally pull you in, Josie does not do that and I for one appreciate that about her writing.

    A tense beginning to the first installment of the Arcadia series. The story is well written with a good building intensity. Emma and Lucas have an intense spark right from the start of the book. Emma's past makes it difficult for her to open up and trust. The heat level of this story is scorching. the humor comes more from Lucas's attempts to quell his inner caveman than the couple's antics. I do so love Ms. Litton's ability to mix lust humor and a lick of intense action to spice up a story! I was given an advanced reader copy of this book. This was my fair and honest review.
