    I’m going to try to do this without spoilers! The most important thing I can say is that if you love Contemporary Romance novels and want to read a series that deals with more than the normal fluff I can’t recommend this series enough!!! I have been reading romance for over 30 years and this by far is my favorite series ever!!! This is the ninth book and each book gets better and better!

    We have been on a roller coaster ride with the first two books about these two tortured souls and to say I was dying to find out how their story ends is an understatement!

    Marshall pours out her heart and soul while she shares the back stories of Lexi and Cam with the perfect amount of detail to the point as I was reading certain scenes I felt like I was there watching the scenes unfold in person!

    This book answers so many questions from the previous two books on why these two have behaved the way they have with each other and if you don’t have an AHA moment that makes you fall in love with them then you should go back and read it again as you have missed something!

    I rarely give reviews, but this series, and especially Camilla and Alexi part, is underrated. I read books that are not even half of what these books offer and have thousands of ratings. This blows my mind, because the books were very well written and the psychological aspect of the characters and their evolution is flowing so natural.

    Cam and Alexi will take you on a wild.ride. You will go through every emotion and be cursing them in one breath, then routing for them in another. This is a.complex story about love between 2 flawed people . It is beautifully written. Can is an ex-hooker who had an awful abusive childhood. Alexi is a rich mod boss who thinks everyone is trying to play him. These 2 fall hard for each other but either trusts. They have to take some risks.and learn to trust in love. Seriously one of the best series I have ever read. Definitely read the whole series because Alexi is not all he seems in the first book.

    This has been a much awaited book. I’ve loved every couple in the series so far. But lexi and cam will always be my favourite. There’s just something about two tortured souls finding love and happiness. Alexi by no means is perfect he’s a down right bastard at times. But every action has a reason. Every time he hurt cam or pushed her away was explained in this book. You find the route cause of why he is the way he is. The exact same with camilla. Finding out more about her past and how she’s had to fight tooth and nail to survive brings a whole new level of respect for her. She didn’t always do things she was proud of. But she never let the past kill her. The way she fights to overcome triggers from the past shows her strength.
    Alexi and cam have a very volatile relationship at times. But knowing how to handle him and him her makes them a very strong couple. Definitely not a pair to be messed with.
    She finally found someone that loved her enough to slay her demons. And he finally had someone show him he’s not a disappointment he’s loyal and loving and deserves to have all the love in the world.
    Two souls mended by the love they have found in each other.
