    Corbin is the second book in the Theriot Family series by author Silvia Violet. It can be read as a standalone. However, I think best enjoyed reading this series in order.

    This story is told in dual POV and it works great for this storyline.

    Corbin is the youngest Theriot brother. He is the bratty one who will use his family name to get the job done. He also doesn’t feel he is as strong as his brothers. He is a good soul who needs some guidance.

    Beau owns the local garage. He has worked hard for everything he has. He will not put up with a brat telling him what to do. He tells them what to do not the other way around.

    He is a great soul who likes to take care of others.

    Overall this is a great story. You meet people from the first book and build on that storyline. I cannot wait to see what happens next and who falls in love.

    Taming the youngest Theriot who was sassy and loved being a brat when he couldn’t get his way. Corbin has always been protected by his family who believed he wasn’t ready to become an adult. He hated it and wanted to be included in the family business. When he was given a task, he made a mistake and his brother Remy favorite car was scratched. He had to take the car to the guy his brother helped get out of prison and who does mechanic work for them. Corbin couldn’t stand Beau because Beau saw through him and called him out on his foolishness. So in order for Beau to work on Remy’s car, Corbin had to work at the shop doing whatever chores assigned to him. He had to get his hands dirty. Corbin had an old enemy who was coming after him and some other old friends as well as the Theriot family. This gave Corbin an opportunity to prove himself when Beau was kidnapped and his family realized with the rescue he had come into his own of being an adult who can take charge. Great story that will keep you reading until the end.

    I’m not a big reviewer, I have to say that I loved Corbin and Beau from the beginning and they grew hotter and sweeter with every page! I’m a pushover for stories centered in Louisiana especially in New Orleans, and Sylvia is fabulous with detail, she makes you I feel like you’re right there on the page with them. Highly recommend Corbin to all!

    I liked this story better than the first and the first was very well written. That said I liked Corbin but didn't like the sorta he-man but whiny child routine whiplash, I get it for character wise I guess. But, it's distracting to the story as a whole. I thought he ended up being g a bit rude and disrespectful to his family, especially Remington at the end. And the choice for him and Beau to agree to lie about how they got started was stupid, I mean you can't go into the conversation saying I'm an adult and I can do grown up things and also say and yeah let's lie about his car and the reason we got together. Uh what?. Beau was iffy at first for me, his thoughts on Corbin was a bit off putting and he sorta drug Corbin along for the ride in his personal troubles and then was like oops my bad. Other than that as it went on I liked him. But I did feel a bit of betrayal between Beau and Remington. Case in point. Beau and Remington were working friends first and Remington was the one who got him out of jail. Yet Beau thinks it is perfectly acceptable to bang his brother without discussing it with Remington first and then trying to hide it and then lying about it. I mean now yes Corbin is much to blame on that as well but Beau still knew Remington to well to do that behind his back. For me that is disrespectful, dishonest and biting the hand that fed you.

    Oh I love Beau! Dominant hunk working on machines. Beau is an ex-con with a second chance.
    I usually don't like bratty brats, but Corbin was something different. He just needed a Sir who was willing to teach him some discipline and believe in him. I love the fact, that Corbin is also a badass who can kick ass. His character really grows. And again, I highly enjoy the action part of this.
