    I expected a straightforward romantic, suspenseful read but I was not prepared to experience a story that evoked a myriad of emotions. Jenny and Cole's story was an emotional journey that drew me into their world and kept me turning the pages until I reached the end. I literally could not put this book down. It isn't often that a story grabs me early on and doesn't let go until the final page but Jenny's Voice certainly did. The topics addressed in the story (death, grief, rape, human trafficking, and selective mutism) evolve organically and in such a way that you can't help but feel the same emotions that Cole and Jenny do as they experience them. I rooted for them to find their happily ever after from the beginning and cried big fat tears at the end when they found their way out of the trauma of the past and into a glorious future full of promise. I credit Pandora Spocks with an amazing ability to address such gut-wrenching topics in a way that is both respectful and empowering. I appreciated the genuineness of the characters and realism of the situations they were able to overcome. I enjoyed the book from start to finish and am eagerly looking forward to the next book in the series.
