Book 3 is an adventure full of passion, secrets, action, and hot sex.

When one enemy is taken out, another rises up. One who is hell bent on destroying The Stone Society.

Dante Di Pietro is the New Atlanta Medical Examiner. Over 500 years old, Dante has resigned to living his life alone until he finds his mate, the pretty doctor he is working closely with at the prison. She is well aware of the fact that Dante is a Gargoyle. She herself is a half-blood who comes from the Original line of shifters.

Isabelle Sarantos’ life has not been easy. When she was 12, her parents sent her to live with a foster family, hiding the truth of what she is. Now, 20 years later, Isabelle’s life has been thrown into another tailspin. Not only has she just found out she’s a half-blood shifter, but the fates have decided Isabelle is the perfect mate for the sexy Medical Examiner. Isabelle is not only guarding her heart, but a secret from her past that may take care of any feelings Dante has for her.

War is closing in on The Stone Society.

Faith Gibson is a multi-genre author who lives outside Nashville, Tennessee with the love of her life, and her four-legged best friend. She strongly believes that love is love, and there's not enough love in the world.

She began writing in high school and over the years, penned many stories and poems. When her dreams continued to get crazier than the one before, she decided to keep a dream journal. Many of these night-time escapades have led to a line, a chapter, and even a complete story. You won't find her books in only one genre, but they will all have one thing in common: a happy ending.

When asked what her purpose in life is, she will say to entertain the masses. Even if it's one person at a time. When Faith isn't hard at work on her next story, she can be found playing trivia while enjoying craft beer, listening to hard rock (preferably live), reading, or playing with her pup.

The Stone Series should be read in order to get the best understanding of what is going on in the series, but every book is a standalone as far as plot and happily ever after for each specific couple.
And wow! Dante and Isabelle are simply HOT. The fire that stokes their relationship is fed with lots of desire, stubbornness, sensuality, and finally explodes with deep, passionate love.
Isabelle doesn't understand the life she finds herself living, never having known she was part of The Stone Society. She believed herself to be simply outside of the circle looking in. Oh, the changes life can bring us!
Dante knew as soon as he heard her voice that she was his forever, and he sets out trying to show her they are meant to be one. Isabelle fights her feelings. (Why do we *do* that? Of course, if we didn't, the best authors, Faith included, couldn't write such beautifully, sexual tension filled love stories.) When Isabelle's world is threatened, Dante, his brothers, and cousins set out to make it right.
    I won't reveal anymore because I don't do spoilers.
Dante is such a powerful love story. He'll do anything for her, and when she finally realizes this... the sparks that fly will burn from your ereader!
I cannot recommend this series enough. Faith Gibson's writing is extremely detailed without being overwhelmingly so. Her subplot, the one connecting each book, is as important as the main plot of each novel, and its intricacies are woven as well as the most beautiful of tapestries. The romance is an intregal part of the story line, not just a cheesy backdrop to a deeper story, as sometimes writers often make them. *Everything* matters to each novel; and, again, while all three can be a standalone, it's oh so much better if you start with Rafael, then Gregor, then Dante.
While The Stone Series isn't in of my preferred genres, sometimes the most amazing reads are the ones we find looking outside of the norm.
More than five stars for this book, the same for the subplot, and double for the increasingly amazing writing by Faith Gibson!!

This was a great addition to the series. Dante and Isabelle are mates but Izzy is not sure she can love again. We also have the added bonus of Connor, Isabelle's son by her first marriage. There is also a side plot of Trevor and Jasper's blossoming relationship. This is a very plot driven book. Lots of action and lots of new background info is brought to light.

I loved how Dante referred to Connor as "his son" or "our son". I truly believe we get the children God wants us to have, biology, not withstanding. Conner, at 6, knew it before either Dante or his mother. Referring to Dante as "My Father".

I absolutely adore the epilogues these books have. We get to see glimpses into the future. This one was particularly touching as an 11 y/o Connor explains why his yet unborn sister can't be named a certain name and shows his family a picture he has drawn.

This book is a bit tamer in the sexual sense as there is very little sex until the 71% point. What we do get is HOT. Looking forward to book four: FREY.

Dante is book 3 in the series and can be read as a stand alone but is better if read in order, that way you can get the full background of the other characters. Dante and Isabella where mentioned in previous books but the focus is on them in this one. The story line is great and these two characters are awesome together one more passive while the other a little more aggressive. As with the other books of the series there is plenty of action, suspense a few steamy moments. I would recommend this book.

I love this series. Let me rephrase that. I love the gargoyles in this series. The heroines not so much. Kaya is cool. Tessa in book 2 made me angry with her obstinance. But Isabella in this one had me beyond that. Oh my goodness! Could she be more stubborn! I mean come on. She fights the mate bond and I can understand that since the whole shifter life is new to her. But when her son is kidnapped does she accept help from her cousin and the other gargoyles who can help her? No she doesn't. She decides to run off alone to get her son back knowing full well she's not trained to handle this situation. Halfway through the flight to get her son she admits to herself she should have accepted help. Duh!! But wait, in the middle of all this she thinks the female kidnapper is hot. She touches Isabella's hand and she gets goosebumps. Wait, now you're turned on? She's confused about everything. Dante deserves more than this imo.
I swear she's missing some brain cells. Like all of them. The endless self absorption and examination grew tiresome.
On the plus side we get to know more about Jasper and his potential mate Trevor. Tessa had mellowed some so she's more likeable. I'll keep reading the series because I am hooked on the goyles.

These books just keep getting better. With the three female leads mated, I think the next books will be about the men as they meet their mates. Women characters are strong and smart, men are those of your dreams, kind, caring, loving. Couldn't pick a favorite. Oh, and even if they are gargoyles, they are so men, totally clueless. LOL

Book 3 in the Stone Society Series was as great as the first two books. There was suspense, emotion, a heartfelt love. Faith Gibson knows how to give her characters depth and several storylines running at once. This series is a must read.

Loving the gargoyle series. Its probably the best gargoyle series ive read ever! Kicka#s action, hot romance, potential war and intertwining plots all running at the same time.
Dante has found his mate isabelle. She's just recently transitioned to half gargoyle, discovered her deceased parents werent actually dead and that she has heaps of siblings all over the world. On top of that she is also holding back her own secret as well. While her and Dante are just testing the waters. they go on their 1st date, which doesn't end the way she wanted. Despite Dante's scowling serious face, he is a gentle soul beneath and decides he will take a soft approach to their budding relationship.
Next minute everything she has been trying to keep secret results in a kidnapping, Dante and his brothers will do everything he can to save his love and family.
What i also loved about this is that you are introduced to new characters who are equally intriguing and potential romance also running at the same time. Also liked the epilogue where you get a snapshot of future. That storyline can lead to a completely new series. So excited and can't wait to read Frey's story next.

3rd in the series and I'm glad to report that the pace and the sizzle continue unabated.. Dante and Isabelle's story starts slow.. like their relationship.. but the tension and heat factor slowly build to an "inferno".. LOL .. the ony downer for me .. is the ending... just a little too "twee".. there is HEA.. and then there is saccharine.. oh well onto book 4..
