Robert Charles is a broke people loving writer, breaking free from the service world of broken teams, corporate cutting costs, and trying to sell things which I, myself wouldn't buy. I love playing sports, games of strategy, being on stage, etc. I'm in my thirties, I've always lived in the Midwest in USA, but I surprisingly have an other-centered cultural bias.

The Soul (or Soulmate) Survivors Series is meant to be a fun and light reading experience with sophisticated world building and lots of moving parts to the plot, including epic battles, mystery, suspense, and thrills. There are all sorts of cool Sigma super powers with characters able to use energy as a weapon, shape shifting, tunneling, speaking and fighting with spirits (Sprites), controlling wind, water, fire, nature, or other elements, and turning into fighting monsters. The characters get thrown through the ringer physically and mentally with brutal and sometimes sexy fights, emotional backstories, and steamy love triangles. Your feelings could be on the roller coaster ride with them. Be ready for some adult situations with drugs, sex, and violence. I hope the novels make you laugh with slapstick comedy, play-on words, and general character weirdness, leaving you feeling full and happy upon putting a book down.

These novels may have the feel of comics, manga, and anime, which are are the sources of many of my favorite stories like: Dragonball, DBZ, One Piece, Fairy Tail, Rave Master, Eden's Zero, Love Hina, Shaman King, and Avatar the Last Airbender. I enjoyed the Harry Potter series, Twilight, the Uglies, the Dresden Files, Animorphs, Goosebumps, Brian Jacques books, Grimgar J-novels, poetry, etc. I also write a series on DeviantArt.

I draw all the covers myself. I made my bio pic “selfie” in Paint years ago as an ice version of me with the heart broken from the ice. I haven't found my Soulmate yet, but I do have a big purple heart like the pic would seem to indicate! I really believe in the best in humanity, shades of gray, and giving others the benefit of the doubt more than not. My favorite stories help me remember the good times and wonderful people in my life. I hope reading is a similar plus for you, and you can connect positively with others through conversation, art, and expression your entire life with several goals reached and many happy mini-endings.
