The story is okay. I am just not a fan of short mysteries. Things are solved too easily and fall into place too quickly to appeal to me. If you are a fan of short, quick reads, you will like this series. Mr. Mitchell could also use some help in the proof reading department.

The author did a great job of character building in a short story. He gave good insights into their relationships. The mystery was excellent. I didn't figure out who the murderer was, and I usually do. I really like this authors work.

A good read. A birthday that ends with three people dead and her being asked to help the local police in solving the crime.
The birthday girl's dream birthday turns into a nightmare when two young men are poisoned by the cake. Her questions reveal a lot of backstabbing and jealousy between the group. Then a young woman is poisoned. Can she work out who the killer is? Will she mend the bridge between her sister and herself?

Very fast read. Rich kids and no adult supervision at a girls 21st birthday. Something is bound to happen and it does.

Love this series. Everyone is a winner. Is there a connection between Kate, her Bakery and the murders that seem to follow her? Hope not. One more book in series 😢. An easy to read enjoyable series.
