Modess Wilder, Alpha of the Blood Lust pack, hates just about everything and everyone.     Ms. Bliler has done it again. Just when you think there is nothing that can be better than her Skin Walker series, she creates this masterpiece. Devour is about Modess, the alpha of his wolf shifter pack, not looking for a mate but can't resist the electric chemistry he has when he takes Hillary from her pack to be chef and teacher.
    The intimacy she creates between the main characters is just the right balance of sweet and dominate. The way the characters evolve throughout the book, keeps the reader engaged and entranced to not only see how the story ends, but to get to see Hillary come into her own and Modess become relatable. I couldn't help but cheer these two on. I cannot wait until the rest of the series is published.

    I enjoyed reading this book. Modess is an arrogant jerk but he cares for his people though he showed it in quite a different way, I.e., his own way but he is a good alpha. And dealing with his mate is new to him, he did not knew what to say or do, which is not typical for him as an alpha, making him feel out of sort and its quite entertaining to read.

    This is one of my favorite book. I go back to this book from time to time.

    I have to say I think Susan is getting better and better with her writing. Both this book and her most recent Skin Walkers book Bellis were her best by far. I have always liked her books but now I am loving her books. Like all the others here, I am hoping this will become a series. It was so much fun to watch Modess be like the most typical of men and have no clue as to his true feelings for Hillary until faced with .... well don't want to spoil it for you. There was steamy scenes, funny dialog, tender moments, a bit of angst, girl time and of course a crisis! All the elements of a really good romance.

    This has to be said OMG this author has "The sexiest book covers ever!". I almost fell out of my chair when I saw this one! That being said this was a good, sexy read. I hope this is a start to a new series. Their is a few typos not many. The Alpha sizzles, I don't understand how she fought the attraction as long as she did (a little annoying). Between the cover picture and how Modess was written I fell fast.

    I love Susan Bliler, I've devoured every book she's written over and over and this one is no exception. I love her alpha males they are always dominant and sexy and Modess if definitely just that. I rarely write reviews (naughty I know) but I feel I owe this brilliant author some recognition for all her hard work keeping me entertained. I'm pretty sure I will be revisiting this book again soon and falling even more in love with Modess though I wouldn't say no to Bull either
