    Jo Pepperdine is a very helpful person that gives and doesn't ask for much in return when it comes to the parolees that live in her halfway house. Just follow the rules and do your duties. A tragedy happened when one of her tenants leaves quietly and then someone in town turns up dead. Is it connected? You're going to have to read the book to find out. I just love the characters and the storyline. Awesome book! I can't wait to read the next one that's next. I highly recommend you start reading from the first book to the last book in the series. You won't be disappointed.

The characters always make you feel right at home. Hope’s descriptions of the people and places and incidents that go on there in Divine make you feel that you are truly a part of it all.     This is a great Christmas story. Jo owns a farm in a small town in Kansas. She has a bake shop, a small restaurant, and helps women who have Bern recently released from prison to begin their transition to being out on their own. She finds out she has a half brother-- Miles. Someone has stolen toys collected for children in need, and the town needs to replace the items. Interesting story that will keep you reading. Enjoyed the book.

    I love this Christmas story full of the joy of the season at Second Chance Farm. Unfortunately one of the women who was given a second chance blew it and caused some chaos for Jo. But through her faith and perseverance she comes to a reconciliation and manages to make a wonderful holiday for all. Stay tuned for blooming romance.

A tenant at the farm sneaks away causing Jo heartbreak and concern, while an escaped female convict, a friend of the AWOL tenant, is thought to be causing mischief with the intent to steal from the farm. A page turner, as usual, with lots of action.
