Raylene assist's Jo in her investigation while Delta is working on her recipe for the Divine Baking Contest. To top it off Jo has a man who claim's to be her half brother suing her! He claims to want to take the farm, which Jo has turned into a half-way house for women, away from Jo.

Jo clings to her faith in God to get through the trials she is faced with. As suspects are eliminated the real thief is finally found-to the surprise of all!

I can honestly say that reading the Divine Decisions series has helped me remember I am never really alone for I am protectected by the armor of God.

    I liked this book. The story was really good. I know how stressful a bake off can be, but enjoyed doing it none the less.
    I was also surprised by who stole the sword. I would have never guessed Claire's employee would do that to her, but you never know people.
    I do hope that Jo can get rid of her half brother before he causes real problems.

    Loved the book, the story and glad that another story will be following. But the story of the stolen sword had me mystified. I agree with what the women were saying about who the thief could be but was not prepared when the thief was caught and who it was. Did not see that one coming.

    Love the story of the women at the farm. I can see Raelyn eventually opening up her own detective agency in Divine or elsewhere. She's very good at what she does. Just like how they all fit together as one family. Delta is a hoot especially when she brings out her gun.

    Love interests are abounding in this book. Good to see that good is coming from all of this. I love how Hope brings God and the bible verses into her stories. Without Him in your life you cannot accomplish anything. Oh you can, but will it be fullfilling.

    But her slimy good for nothing half brother. This story has to end and it has to end quickly. I hope that she doesn't give away half of her fortune to that creep and that he moves on. I like how Jo and her lawyer are talking about a one time payment and then adding in that he cannot live in Divine or anywhere near her. I cannot wait for the next book to come out and see how the story continues.

    Hope Callaghan is one of my 3 favorite authors who never fail to deliver a story packed with personality! Her characters are so real and believable you will find yourself yearning to be among their circle of friends!

    This latest book in the Divine series is one I couldn't out down from start to finish! So many story lines all easily connected make the intrigue level hike up a few notches! The baking contest, the mysterious theft, the budding relationship, the Fall festival, the new addition and the man who wants most of what Jo owns are all great stories on their own...but Hope combined them artfully and with great finesse! What I like best, without doubt, is the beautiful subtlety she uses as a Christian writer to show God's hand in everything without feeling like you're reading a sermon or being preached to. Even if you're not a person of faith, these books lend an air of peaceful calm. I absolutely can not wait for the next book!!!!!!!! What a wonderful series.

    Jo's friend Claire is having things happening to her antique shop that doesn't make sense to them all until Raylene gets involved to solve the mystery of the sword theft. Also, Jo is going on a date with Nash, not to mention the baking contest that Delta is obsessed about. Overall, this is a very interesting storyline and characters. I highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed. I just love to read these types of books.
