Dragon Sight (The Dragonwalker Book 7) Kindle Edition

4.6 out of 5 stars 1,213 ratings

A centuries old war must end.

After saving the dragons, Fes knows what must come next, but the empire has other plans. Rather than saving the Deshazl from slavery, the emperor bargains for peace. Can real peace happen when his people remain enslaved?

When a summons draws him south, Fes discovers an ancient threat to the dragons that he might not be able to stop. Worse, the Damhur might finally have what they want—a way to control or destroy the remaining dragons.

Survival means going to the heart of Javoor for answers, but not only must he be strong enough, but he also needs to find answers before the dragons are destroyed… this time forever.

Although the book does give a very fairy tale-like ending, I enjoyed the action and tension carried throughout it. One of the best things about this series as a whole is that the reader has a harder time identifying who the "bad guys" truly are. It is nice to find a story which finds the human connection between people and explores the idea that everyone's actions and reactions are driven by different experiences and realities. One person's seemingly "bad" actions can be understood once one identifies the driving factors behind those actions, and while this does not always equal acceptance or approval, change can happen with understanding.

I like the finale of the character development in this book of the main character as well as many of the other important and supporting characters. It is a fun, interesting, and insightful book to read on a series that most ages can enjoy because it is also clean in both language and content.

Well thought out, very informative. The author did an excellent job in keeping this reader informed while also keeping the storyline engaging and enjoyable. This method usually begins to make the story boring, but not so with this series

I have read several of the authors series. I continue to read because they are interesting and keep my attention for the most part. Unfortunately there is a lot of narrative and a lot of rehashing of the same facts that were there at book one of the series. So I just skip over those because the premise of the story is usually very good I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys fantasy

An epic fantasy ride that I'm astounded isn't more popular. You follow fez on his journeys, through trial and tribulations, betrayals and new friends, he remains a compelling and intelligent character. It's refreshing to see such growth within so many of the characters while still completely holding on and staying true to their beliefs in what is right and wrong, and realizing that that line is not always so distinct. Two series so far that I have read from Mr. Holmberg and i haven't been dissatisfied yet. I will gladly delve in to his other works. I would love to see more from this world and what may lie past the known Empire and Javoor borders. The mountain people they discovered and how they might affect the empire someday would be great! And like my headline says, can we please PLEASE get a really detailed HBO series from this? This entire book series is a GREAT premises for a TV series. Not on standard TV but a bigger budget HBO series would be highly lucrative for any involved and highly satisfying for the readers to see this brought to life! To say I recommend this series and author is a gross understatement! Thank you Mr. Holmberg!

Wrede or Myth-Adventures Series & Phules Company Series by Robert Asprin or Beast-master Series by Andrea Norton TO NAME A FEW. Lol

This series is a little slow at points and sometimes doesn't keep you enthralled but overall is really well written and the story line is amazing. I love long books and long series and this was both and gave me much enjoyment

I’ve finished the last novel in this series. The one word that pops is WOW. Thank you, Mr. Holmberg, for writing this incredible journey. I enjoyed getting to know Fes, Azithan, Jayell, and so many others. I enjoyed seeing the dragons fly again - and yes, I did see them fly. The way Mr. Holmberg writes brings you into the story. I hope that one day producers will try to see this story. I would be very interested to see if they see it the same as I have.

Great ending! Only thing is we never learnt why the dragons couldn't see through the trees and who the people in the hills were and how they were significant.

Apologies for not reviewing the other six books, but once I started on book one I could not put it down. I downloaded them one after the other till sadly finishing book seven. Excellent story kept you captivated on every page. The characters individual stories were exciting to see how they progressed or ended. I do hope there will be more books in this series, I would recommend reading them if you enjoy fantasy at its best.
