I am not a good person.

I don't cheat or steal, but I do lie a little bit... and participate in the occasional murder... spree.

Life as I know it gets turned upside down when I'm asked to step in and halt the progress of a black market drug tainted with magic. The one little business adventure opens up Pandora's Box and brings my ebony tower crashing down around me.

As if life wasn't complicated enough, I also now have mates. Emphasis on the ssss part. I want to be mad about it, really I do... but they're hot, and the temptation to make them all mine is fueling my desire.

With a final mate that I'm not happy about and a stalker on my heels... maybe having several someones at my back isn't such a bad thing.

    I loved everything about this book. The FMC is everything I look for when searching for the perfect heroine. She smart, strong, sassy, and unapologetic. The men in her harem compliment her so well and it makes for a steamy but also stimulating read. The plot is refreshing and just twisty enough to keep you interested.     Within the pages of Druid Dreams you're going to find yourself totally immersed in a variety of worlds and realms. There are Fae, Vampires, Druids (obviously, ha!) and more.

    The intricate details and personal touches that the author put into this book really impressed me and I am honestly really excited to see what else she has in store for us within this series.

    Sloane is funny, witty and definitely cute but psycho! 😉 It's obvious from the moment you're introduced to her that you're going to love her. It's kind of impossible not to.

    I can honestly say there have been times that I've read a book with a leading lady who it just feels comes off TOO hard to be strong and powerful; that is NOT the case with Sloane King. She is the perfect balance of sexy and crazy and all around bada$$!

    The guys are introduced right away as well and at first it was a little tricky to remember who was who but it didn't take long before I already had a favorite and I was able to tell them apart just by their mannerisms.

    For this to be this authors debut novel is amazing.

    Note: this does end on a cliffy but book 2 isn't too far out so we thankfully don't have to wait that long!

    You've already read the blurb, so I won't rehash that. A lot of reviews found the book humorous - meh. Some claim they like the heroine - hm. Others mention they enjoy the men - nope.

    The MC is always snarky and winking and generally sassing. She's the prettiest and the baddest and the awesomest but she's also got a sensitive side. These things - designed to get you to be all wow, she's so awesome - just really ended up being off putting for me. At one point, she says, "I am the biggest, baddest predator on the planet. I’m not even bragging about that - it’s just a fact...If I seem sure of myself it’s because I am... I'm faster, stronger, and smarter than she is. I’m an impossible combination of supernatural strengths." This is bad because it makes her boring.

    As to the men... Well, I did not enjoy the multiple points of view and I did not enjoy the redundancy of their thoughts. Additionally, there's a bunch of them and none are really stand out characters.

    All in all, the book struggles because the characters are flat and cliche, the dialogue is either full of innuendo or repetitive (or is repetitive innuendo...), and everyone winks entirely too much.

    I couldn't decide between 3 and 4 stars but I went with 4 as the book is really well written. My own dilemma is that so much information was thrown at me during the book that I struggled to keep up. It's probably just me, but I can't keep track of everything if its thrown at me too fast and not drip fed.
    All the guys are introduced at pretty much the same time, and at first I had to keep going back to remind myself what species everyone was.
    This book is non stop from beginning to end, there are no slow bits at all, lots of action. There is also a lot of information about all the different worlds and what is going on with each character, you get to know them all.
    Sloane is a hybrid and has had all the training needed to look after herself, she is the definite leader of the group and doesn't need any of the guys to help protect her. She knows what she wants and she goes after it, I loved her witty comebacks. He best friend Jack is also a great character for her to bounce off.
    All the guys are already friends and knew they had a mate but didn't know they'd be sharing the same one.
    Book 2 should be interesting after the little cliffhanger.
