Engagement Rate: A Billionaire Office Romance (Callaghan Green Series Book 1) Kindle Edition

4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars 1,252 ratings

He’s gorgeous. He’s successful. And he’s technically my employer. Introducing Jackson Callaghan, who looks like no lawyer ever should.
I shouldn’t be noticing how he wears a suit or thinking about what his hair looks like in the mornings. Instead, I’m meant to be sticking to just three things:
Growing my marketing business Buying my cheating, arrogant ex out of said business Never getting involved with anyone I work with. Ever. Again.
London, England. The residence of the queen, suited City boys and the man who won’t give up: Jackson Callaghan. With his tattoos and a talent for charming, he’s set his sights on one thing other than his career – me.
Just one night won’t hurt, will it? A simple hook up isn’t really breaking my own rules.
But what happens when a hook up leaves you hooked?
ENGAGEMENT RATE is a steamy office romance with no cheating and a happily ever after. It's the first book in the CALLAGHAN GREEN SERIES, set in London, England.

A great story and a fun read with unexpected pops of laughs every so often. My only critique
Is the ridiculous annoying conflict at the end that did not fit the rest of the story. But the other 99%
Of the story was great !

Jackson and Vanessa are such well written characters. They seem so real and alive on the page. I loved their story. Both are head strong and used to getting what they want. They have to learn each other and how to make their relationship work. I am definitely a fan of the work place relationships. Well written and realistic relationship. Definitely worth the read

But the grammer and pronoun errors were overwhelming. For example, Jackson's father is sometimes referred to as Ed and sometimes as Grant .... how can you not get the character's name correctly. Other times, pronouns and articles are thrown in as if they were tossed in as an after thought.
The story and characters were good. Please do a better job of editing in the future.

4.5 stars. Jackson and Vanessa made a sexy couple that had multiple issues to work out to make it work in the long run. I really appreciate that Van's concerns from her past relationship were taken seriously and time was given for them to work through personal issues separate from their couple issues/plans. There was some confusion at first in reading this book because there are lots of supporting character family members that it took a bit at first to keep track of them. I do look forward to reading more books in this series as this clan was quite fun!

Plenty of explicit heat, a solid storyline and characters, a real plot, everything I enjoy in a good romance. Its one flaw is the repeated use of the incorrect word ( for instance- they're instead of there or their, passed instead of past), and the same errors are repeated multiple times over the story. Please find a good proofreader to go over this and correct these bumps in an otherwise lovely road.

I absolutely FLOVED this story of Vanessa and Jackson. The characters - BOTH primary and secondary - were beautifully developed! The dialogue was witty and romantic. The storyline was exceptionally easy to follow and while there were a VERY FEW typos it did not detract from the story at all! Ugh! I just cannot say enough good about this beautiful story except that it is beautiful and romantic and absolutely lovely and one you SHOULD. NOT. MISS!!!

I read things a bit out of order with this series as I found a couple of the later books first. However, I was definitely interested in going back to get Jackson and Vanessa's story.

There's drama, lots of family, and, of course, romance. Engagement Rate is a solid debut book and a great introduction to the Callaghan family.
