Engagement Rate: A Billionaire Office Romance (Callaghan Green Series Book 1) Kindle Edition

4.3 out of 5 stars 1,319 ratings

He’s gorgeous. He’s successful. And he’s technically my employer. Introducing Jackson Callaghan, who looks like no lawyer ever should.
I shouldn’t be noticing how he wears a suit or thinking about what his hair looks like in the mornings. Instead, I’m meant to be sticking to just three things:
Growing my marketing business Buying my cheating, arrogant ex out of said business Never getting involved with anyone I work with. Ever. Again.
London, England. The residence of the queen, suited City boys and the man who won’t give up: Jackson Callaghan. With his tattoos and a talent for charming, he’s set his sights on one thing other than his career – me.
Just one night won’t hurt, will it? A simple hook up isn’t really breaking my own rules.
But what happens when a hook up leaves you hooked?
ENGAGEMENT RATE is a steamy office romance with no cheating and a happily ever after. It's the first book in the CALLAGHAN GREEN SERIES, set in London, England.

This was a new author to me. And I really enjoyed this first book of hers that I've read. I plan to go looking for more. It really kept me involved, if characters were very real, the plot was good, and the pace was fast and smooth. All the things I look for in a good book.

A great story and a fun read with unexpected pops of laughs every so often. My only critique
Is the ridiculous annoying conflict at the end that did not fit the rest of the story. But the other 99%
Of the story was great !

4.5 stars. Jackson and Vanessa made a sexy couple that had multiple issues to work out to make it work in the long run. I really appreciate that Van's concerns from her past relationship were taken seriously and time was given for them to work through personal issues separate from their couple issues/plans. There was some confusion at first in reading this book because there are lots of supporting character family members that it took a bit at first to keep track of them. I do look forward to reading more books in this series as this clan was quite fun!

    3.5 stars

I read things a bit out of order with this series as I found a couple of the later books first. However, I was definitely interested in going back to get Jackson and Vanessa's story.

There's drama, lots of family, and, of course, romance. Engagement Rate is a solid debut book and a great introduction to the Callaghan family.

This book held me captive from the moment I opened it. This is the first book in the Callaghan series. If the rest of the series is as good as this one I’m in for a treat.
Jackson is the new managing partner of his family’s law practice. He’s commanding, smart, handsome and driven. With the firm taking on new direction they are looking to update their marketing and advertising. Enter Vanessa Moore, part owner and head of operations at Cole Henderson. Vanessa is creative, beautiful, a stand on her own kind of women. Besides her qualities, she has her own set of issues. Together these two hit it off even with their dominant personalities and issues.
As if all this isn’t enough we get to meet the rest of the family and friends that add to the delightfulness of this story. This story will bring smiles, tears, aww moments and unbelievable heat.
I said in the beginning that this is a series and if this is the beginning I can’t wait to see what the other books bring.

Plenty of explicit heat, a solid storyline and characters, a real plot, everything I enjoy in a good romance. Its one flaw is the repeated use of the incorrect word ( for instance- they're instead of there or their, passed instead of past), and the same errors are repeated multiple times over the story. Please find a good proofreader to go over this and correct these bumps in an otherwise lovely road.
