    First book they be read by the author Diana A. Hicks. The storyline was intriguing. I loved the author wrote a female as a leader of a crew and the mmc was a easily swayed FBI agent. It was a decent read.

    Mia has taken over as boss of the Rogue River crew and there are some of them that are giving her trouble. She took over when her Uncle Micky was killed when a deal went bad. He tells the ATF that he slept with Mia when he was giving her file, They told him he was off the case. The next week he was called and told to come in when he gets there the FBI needs his help. Tyler looks like the grandson of another mob boss that they are after. They want him to go undercover as the grandson. Mia and her crew are getting ready to leave on a run and she is taken by Rossi. When she gets there and walks in she sees Tyler. Rossi tells them that he has plans for them to marry, Mia tells him she is not going to marry Chase (Tyler). Rossi is the Head of the New York Faction and he wants all the crews from New Jersey under him. Tyler and Mia both are thinking of a way to stop the marriage. Mia is also wanting to take Rossi down.
    Can Mia and Tyler work together to get the job done?
    This book will keep you on the edge of your seat with all the twists and turns, betrayals and the chemistry between Mia and Tyler. I would recommend this book to anyone.

    This story had many twists and turns. A female leading a mafia crew is unusual. Needing a night to herself, Mia had a one night fling with Chase Rossi a.k.a. Tyler Cole, ATF Agent who was undercover as Rossi's nephew since he hasn't see his nephew in ten years, Tyler was able to pull it off. Mia became pregnant with Tyler baby. After finding out the true identity of Tyler both her, Tyler and his two brothers worked together and where able to shut down Rossi's entire organization. I enjoy Mafia Romance stories, this didn't hold my interest. I skipped many chapters.

    Mia Torelli has stepped up and taken over for her Uncle Mickey after he is gunned down to run the crew in New Jersey. She was born into this life and will do all that she can to protect her town and her family. She knows that it won’t be an easy job, but she also knows that she can do it. She just needs to get her crew behind her and on board with a woman in charge.

    Tyler Cole is man who has just returned from helping his brothers get out of a situation in
    Venezuela and came back with a woman he rescued while there with his brothers. After she tells the brothers what was going on in Venezuela with her former boss, they decided to help her get out of Venezuela. Tyler went to the FBI for help after he returned home only to be denied any help.

    The first time Mia and Tyler meet is almost like it was orchestrated by someone. Their immediate attraction is steamy. Neither one is in the position for a relationship at this time and go their own way. However, fate has other plans for them. Their lives are about to change and be twisted. Will they both survive, or will they find their demise? They both live dangerous lives and each day is a question mark.

    I loved this story and have to find time to read the other books in this series. The Cole brothers are sexy and dangerous. I give this story a 4.5 star review and highly recommend it to any reader who enjoys mafia, men in law enforcement, the grey lines between right and wrong, or stories that have you hanging on every page.

    I received this book from a #goodreads giveaway.

    I love a good mafia love story. Throw in intrigue, a surprise baby and action and I'm a goner.

    This is my first Hicks book, won't be the last. I loved Tyler and Mia. Love Vic, he's awesome.

    Tyler infiltrating the mob and continuing is fantastic. Can't wait to read more.
