Disclosure: I am a Mike Chinakos fan and have read all of his published work. That aside, Exiles in Time has become my favorite, and I am only a third of the way into the story. The main character and premise is known to me from a previous book (Terminal Horizons), which I thoroughly enjoyed. Exiles in Time however brings a different feel to the story line. Without giving away too much and not wanting to spoil the book for anybody, there is an urgency created during the first third of the book that makes it hard to put down. Action not for action's sake, but as a literary element where you know that everything that is happening will have consequences going forward. It's like the butterfly effect but on cosmic and temporal levels. I'm looking forward to seeing where the story goes from here. Well played sir!
